Which of the newer (carc-type) bikes, or let's just say post-V.11, do Forum members have?

Add yourself to the list:

Greg Field [1973 850 Eldorado USA – it may soon be sporting a CARC] – are you serious Greg?

That's just a quick start: please correct / add to the list.

It would be great to see more reports on experience with the different models. E.g. I'd like to hear more about the 1200S as it looks like a good sport-tourer and I know Jaap & Ant have been out and about on theirs.

Went well in France and very comfortable!

Since back the alternator has failed (warranty job) and I 've had the latest maps uploaded - makes the low speed throttle response much smoother and sorts out the hunting/surging at 3000rpm.

I've done 2 more UK trips with wife on the back - very successful.

See you've bought an ST - how's that performing?

My friend Andy's alternator failed recently on his 1200 Sport as well- seems to be a reasonably rare issue though. Glad you got it sorted and are enjoying her.

Triumph is good fun- very different from a Guzzi!

Just joined here. I'm in Austin, TX and I ride a 2007 Breva 1100. Black, with the maroon seat...

Bought in April with 1000 miles. I have 3800 on the bike now and I absolutely love it. I've had no issues what so ever. I would love to clear up the low RPM throttle response, but that is my only complaint.

I did get the suspension set up for my weight by the dealership a month after I bought it and regretted not doing it right away. It made a huge difference in the handling and the bike is so much more fun and safe to ride.
