  1. PM sent From Jerry (JRD) I think the mount is suppose to sit further down in the stem. While it will probably be ok, I suspect there is additional stress on the mount. You could change the stem nut to a open design. That might work. Then you could shove the mount into the stem more.
  2. Beautiful bike!
  3. I believe you need at least two cables. One is the USB to ODBII which needs to have the correct chip. Then there is the ODBII to Guzzi (actually FIAT) adapter. I don't think it matters which one you get here. Can anyone confirm? I'm still reading up on this stuff. I don't recall the Lonelect taking long to ship to Oregon.
  4. It's from Lonelec. You had a link somewhere to an adapter cable on eBay. I might try that. https://www.ebay.com/itm/262140277271
  5. This cable doesn't appear to be available from this source. Are there any other sources in the US? I have the USB to ODBII cable that I used on my Triumph. I may just order the adapter cable from the U.K.
  6. As long as the bike keeps running I won't touch them. But I'll have spares!
  7. Fuses: 5s and 10s and 30? That should be it, right?
  8. i doubt the mirrors are made for Guzzis. You'll need to make some adjustments to make them work.
  9. As soon as I get the bike back home I'm going to see how my Norton fairing fits. It's similar to the SFC but a little different.
  10. PM sent
  11. It's snowing in Northern California and Southern Oregon. That would have made for a highly unpleasant ride. Just taking the relays, the other stuff is Molex parts for the 850-T.
  12. Already in a sealed bag and bubble wrap never to be used again!
  13. That's what I was thinking too.
  14. And yet people claim to have done it.
  15. Oh, you gave only 5 digits.
  16. Sleep is for the weak.
  17. Ok, my current packing list: Rain Gear (we had 70mph winds here today. So glad I wasn't flying out today!) 3 pairs of gloves (summer, spring and winter, this is Oregon and you can have all three seasons in one afternoon!) Rok Straps RAM mounts (yes, two, one that can bolt to the mirror/clutch perch and another that can mount in the steering stem http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=19070) Relays (FIVE Omron so I don't have to hear from docc when I hit a bump and pop a relay) Battery Tender cable (current owner doesn't believe in battery tenders, thinks that if you need one you don't ride enough. Obviously doesn't live in Oregon!) Battery Tender extension (to run power to the RAM mount) Battery Tender to USB adapter Battery Tender Voltage Meter (the battery is a couple years old so I need to see how strong it is) Multimeter Allen Wrenches Cresent Wrench (Small) Zip ties! Safety Wire (for when zip ties just aren't enough) Duct Tape (for when zip ties and safety wire isn't enough) Go Cruise (the aluminum one because the plastic ones break) Spare bag so I can offload some stuff to the rear rack. All this plus clothes and other stuff going into my Velomacchi backpack. It's going to be loaded! It should look interesting going through the TSA checkpoint with this stuff...
  18. And how big is the hole? 1/4 in?
  19. Thanks. I'm mostly interested in hearing someone say that it does work and what's under that cap (which I still don't know, but I assume it's a hole?) but if the mount works I'm good with that. Thanks!
  20. Does the tank rub because it's swelled a little? Or does the plastic just distort after a while? If the wire doesn't cooperate easily I'll be fine. I can charge the phone in the tail while riding. I have one of the big old eyes phone so it holds a charge for a while.
  21. I suspect I can remove the rear bolt and lift the tank enough to run the wire if there's enough play in the fuel line. As I run the phone as my GPS I'll want to have it handy.
  22. Why do you have to remove the rear body panel to run the cable from the battery to the front?
  23. Yes, I'm looking forward to taking it back up to Moto International just to visit. Were there any other warranties for that year?
  24. According to some documents I got from the owner Moto International preformed some gearbox warrenty done in which they "replaced four internal parts". Any idea what that was?
