As most of my riding is freeway, I'm looking for higher mileage tires. I'm a huge fan of Kenda, such value. I purchased these and am now wondering if fitting these may not work. Even if they fit the rim proper, will they clear the fenders. Shall I give 'em a go, or swap for Kenda KM1 models?

Strange post. I'm sure he's a good guy, in fact I believe I've met him online years ago. He states what a great bike this is, but just not riding any longer, wants it to go to a good home. Then he goes on to explain in detail all the other bikes he hopes to acquire.

Wow, what a weekend, Sprint crashes and overtakes were crazy, and exciting! Great GP as well!

Spent the weekend riding, about 40 miles. The new suspension, combined with the new handle bars made for numerous required comfort adjustments, still more to go. Riding into work this morning on the freeway, realized immediately rebound is too much, the other settings may be about right. As for the handlebars, more need for adjustment, as they are not square.
The Andreanni cartridges really did make a difference, allowing for preload, compression, and rebound. The specific issues I was experiencing are now gone. I'll continue to refine the settings, and see if I'm not eventually a huge fan as I am with my Traxxion Dynamics setup on my V7.
By the way, I successfully replaced the fuel pump, only to later find it was merely the fuel pump fuse. I was so focused on the fuel pump relay, I completely forgot to check the fuse.

Careful, the 2003 panel differs from the 2000 with left/right signal indicators and no "battery" light.
truth.

I can confirm this true: It won't work with an LED unless modified

I agree with @docc, let it be. I don't recall what battery you have, but some have circuits to prevent overcharging. My advice, ride regular. This alone helps many potential issues; including our mental state.

Two items of note. These are the relays I bought, so affordable I wanted to give them a try. They have been in my bike for a couple thousand miles, no problems at all. In addition, I also bought this relay tester. Works like a charm.

I appreciate both your input, parts ordered.
I wonder if I can find a 22mm to 6mm union, that I could screw directly into the tank.
Tank to reducer to hose to quick-connect to hose to elbow adapter to hose to pump.
-
Seriously considering this adapter. Being 90° should help with the space issue. I then can attach any 22mm (correct?) female fuel tap. Or even a fuel disconnect.
I did consider replacing the O-rings as suggested, but the machining is a deal breaker. Thoughts?

I feel like we might be able to work something out. Not only can we get these reducers in straight or angled, we can also get the petcocks with different direction outlets. What's more, none of this cost very much.
Considering what gas cost and how much I lose every time I remove the tank.

…yes, revisiting.
Can someone confirm the OEM outlet and inlet sizes, please? Is it 22m/12m?
Maybe we buy any of our choosing of 22m petcocks, then use this adapter to overcome the 1/4 to 1/2 outlet hurdle.

Monday morning update.
I successfully replaced all of my fuel line clamps with actual FI clamps. So now my leaking hoses are taken care of, my new riser handlebars are installed, and my newly fitted Andreani forks are ready. So I crank the ignition, it starts for a moment or so then dies. I crank until the battery is dead. I charge the battery and upon retrying to start it, I notice I never unplugged the fuel line to the regulator. I immediately realize the worst of it. By repeatedly cranking a plugged line, I blew the fuel pump.
Ordered a new one, due here in a week. #fail

Still not riding. I installed the Andreanni forks, no seal leaks. Installed my new adjustable bars by rerouting, rather than replacing the cables. It now steers clear, very pleased! However, I didn't test it yet because, once again my worm gear hose clamps are failing. I sprung a fuel injector hose leak and although I tightened it, it still leaks. The clamp is now stripped.
Easy enough fix right? I now bought actual fuel injector clamps, being delivered today. The tough part is access. I now need to remove the tank, air box, etc. Grrr!

I've been avoiding this thread, as I couldn't watch the GP until last night. OH BOY! fantastic race, so enjoyed it, and in Texas too! The USA needed a good showing, what a track.
My man Brad Binder did not fair well, but BatMav and Pedro kept me cheering just the same. It was such a good race, so many passes, I didn't even care who won.
I also follow SX and my fave, Cooper Webb won so it was a great weekend of racing for me. I also follow MMA, but my fave Justin Gaethje did not fair so well.

That is much less than I have seen on Guzzi specific sites. Has anyone on here used this Amazon product before and can vouch for it?
I have not used this rectifier, however https://4into1.com/ is a reputable site, of which I've ordered from in the past.

…cheap enough to give it a try.

I ordered this cable and had no luck getting it to clear the throttle linkage. I'm not sure why, but eventually gave up.

Reading between the lines, with an Antigravity you need to change the reg/rect, but not with an EArthX. I’d also be interested in hearing from anyone with first-hand experience, particularly with overall costs.
AntiGravity has BMS. Seriously though, you would be hard pressed to find any common moto battery without it these days.

I saw this posted this morning, that scheme is spectacular! …and I absolutely love my Vintage Rosso paint scheme.

Factory Manual calls for 400mm of fluid. If Traxxion springs are the same as Marzocchi springs, then I believe you're running too little fluid. Or am I missing another factor?
-
For 40mm Marzocchi forks, with Andreani cartridges, X is 350mm (110mm airgap). Stock cartridges is 400mm.
@docc For 100mm air gap, you mentioned 330mm, for Traxxion cartridges, correct?
Alternate tire size?

The reason I was considering these sizes, is because they didn't come in the OEM size. I didn't want spot bike tires because most of my riding is straight freeway. I wanted this particular model because they are longer lasting, due to better center compound. I'm sold on Kenda, many good experiences with them, both with street and dirt, they represent great value.
I may just go with their sport bike tire model, KM1. They are available in the correct size.
