  1. Coming time to buy new tires and I thought I would through this question out there.

    It has been said that 120/60 steers quicker but a 120/70 has more contact area plus absorbs bumps better.

    Fire away ....!!

  2. How about this .... the wheel is turning clockwise when looking from the right hand side. Therefore the housing is trying to rotate in the opposite direction (counter-clockwise) to impart a clockwise rotation upon the wheel so the reaction rod would be enduring an extension force in order to hold it steady. Braking forces would then be imparting a compression force upon the reaction rod.

    You can sleep soundly tonight knowing you are not stretching your reaction rod every time you operate the rear brake.

  3. It looks marginally better than Speedhut at several times the price.

    Same idea, stepper motor drive.

    Did you look at the M-Unit Roy? I was curious to hear what you think of its capabilities.

  4. @ jim, is your tip of drilling and repairing For abs or fiberglass panels? Because the terms composite and plastic are both used.

    Composite= fiber reinforced resin?

    Plastic= abs, polyester?

    The stop drilling is for plastic ....

  5. Unfortunately a proper repair would first involve stop drilling the crack with a 3/32 drill just at the tip of the crack - otherwise it may just keep on going. Then buy a plastic weld kit and if you have a dremel then route out a slight channel along the crack - both sides are best - and fill the crack with plastic weld. Then you can sand and paint. Plastic weld usually ends up being stronger than the original plastic so you may find it cracks somewhere else if you can't find where the stress came from causing the first crack.

    If you don't want to take the time to fix it completely now then I strongly suggest you at least stop drill the crack or it will get bigger. You can maybe fill the drill hole and cover with a green pen for temporary relief.

    It will mean shooting your Eagle ...

  6. So I suppose your tent and sleeping bag hangs under the back above the wheel on this one.

    My credit card fits in my pocket .... that's the only way I know how to travel.

  7. Sold as Brembo but will probably be spelt Blembo!

    No .... Brombo ...... really!

    Make sure that nothing with paint is under the master cylinder .... I've heard they tend to puke out all the fluid overnight. One local racer got refused entry to the track by tech inspection. They saw the cheap M/C and punted him back to the pits.

  8. Notice that if you go 2 to 1 then you need considerable volume to exit the gases.

    The MGS-01 comes with a 2 to 1 but Guareschi Moto found that there is a lot more horsepower to be had going 2 to 1 to 2. I can see from the dyno charts that it does suffer at the high rpm's.

  9. I still wait for the day when finally one of you hobby sparkies let the smoke out of the whole bike, hopefully out of his own then :grin:

    Suggesting we should leave our bikes alone and live with all the deficiencies?
