  1. Hi everyone, I'am posting this at great risk of being a laughing stock!

Don't ask me why but I've purchased a 1975 Guzzi badged Benneli 250 electronica........

I am looking for ay information sources on this rare bike (UK at least).

The bike seems pretty original and has stood for many years so will need a rebuild. It will make a change to polishing the Rosso at least!

Please keep the replies polite !!!!

    Ride carefully folks.....

  2. Surfing e-bay UK for Guzzi parts n bikes I came across these lovely 'flashers' guess i just wanted to share with you all.....

sorry dont know how to link to this site so here is the item no:8028646302

    e bay.co.uk. worth a look!

please if u know how to link feel free to do so..

  3. Precisely why I  :P:  every time I see one.  Tear off the fairing and bolt on the first headlight ya find - a fine thing to do to any bike misfortunate enough to have her beauty hidden by Tupperware.

definately a case of 'less is more'....

Nige...U spent ages lookin at that Brutale during TT week!!

Well being different certainely gets people talkin!

  4. Well I say the current MVs are great bikes....yeah maybe underpowered....maybe too pricey and yes definately in no way related to the original MV save the badge and Phil Read and Ago's endorsements.

But.....they are different....boootiful....and not to be seen on every street corner so I guess they are a little exclusive and perhaps even have a little soul to them...

Hang on....isnt that what we all see in our Guzzis!!!!???

It would be a shame to loose theem as a manufacturer, we need the diversity and freshness they bring to our biking world..

and yes I would luv one....as a piece of art in me lounge if not to ride!

  5. Just watched the highlights of stage one on Eurosport- there were some nutters on a Harley V Rod sidecar combination splashing through the mud and water.

Must be the toughest off road race in the world- I'll be following the progress of Charlie Boorman and the rest of the Brits.

yeah know just wat you mean...guess best route is to remove rear wheel and bevel box? let shaft hang down so joint opens right up and grease gun will fit.

    luv my rosso.....

  9. :bike: You MUST go to Mandello and see the museum! Why not go to the factory open weekend? GMG. I rode from UK to Mandello this summer vie France ,Switzerland and cannot reccomend the trip more highly,as someone else said the mountain passes are stunning! Lake Como is stunning an the hotel i used had wonderful views of the lake and surrounding mountains. i sure there are other wonderful places ti visit in Italy but as Guzzist you must visit the mecca...oh dont forget Agostini's will hire you a bike too... :mg:
  10. :luigi:

As far as Mufflers go I did sooooo mchh research and annoying questions asked and for the money+performace+sound I'd go with in order

    If you want Ti

      1)MG ti-kit

      2)Leo Vince(no longer made)

      3)Mistral

    If you want CF

      1)FBF*

      2)Mistral

      3)M4

If you want Super Shiny/polished go with the Staitunes or M4's

If you want to be unique *Trick* go with the Quat-D race (no need for x-over save $$$)

I didn't list Alum rankings the bike comes with Alum and most want something different but if you want alum Cheapest set into new pipes would be Mistral Alum Rounds high $300's  ovals were 5something?

Anything else is good they just get to be so expensive I can't see them worth it without a deal found.  :huh2:

*Only # 1 for the price ratio I've seen a little nicer looking CF or a little better build quality but really its so hard to tell unless you have better ones  right next to them.

just to add that i run a pair of RENEGADE carbon mufflers here in UK on my rosso mandello, they fitted well and sound luverly too, bike making around 100brake now so I well happy! see their website for pics..

  11. I'm considering ordering some new V11LeMans.com t-shirts. If you guys are interested I could order some badges and/or stickers too. Other suggestions are welcome!
