  1. I've got a sweet hippie chick Chiropractor and when the MD's fail to address my lower back pain, she often can. And, oh yeah, I live in the land of Life Chiropractic College -- ATL. Like MDs -- there's good and bad. Most chiros I've met have been sincere.
  2. Ugghhh
  3. Bill -- thanks for the offer. I would definitely take you up on it were it not for the fact that I woke up feeling like warmed-over s**t -- some kind of viral/flu thing. The redehead has been making me breathe peppermint oil in boiling water in a vain attempt to clear my head. Still feel cruddy -- probably gonna have to blow off "World's Fastest Indian" viewing this afternoon. I promise that when I'm back up I'll give you a call-- check out the Garage Majal -- and FINALLY bring you those V11 mirrors -- if you still want 'em. Take care... v50

    Montreal Show?

Ben, Ben, Ben... All the bikes you mention are great in their own way, but the Tuono has a lot more USABLE power than the peaky (albeit beautiful) MV. I wish I could offer a comparison b/w the Bimmer and Buell Ulysses, but I'm not tall enough to be comfortable on either one of them -- and don't care much about them either. Now, if you wanna talk Firebolt's...
  5. Have a look... http://www.rollingstone.com/reviews/movie/...-player=unknown
  6. I've been TOLD that it is a superfine CLAY that gives Shockproof its unique consistency. I'm running the Lightweight shockproof in the Buell's gearbox. It has a lovely blue color to it -- almost like a blueberry -- but the taste...
  7. That's the exact color combination of the one I saw this morning. The bike is just too BIG and the styling too DISJOINTED for me. Dig the centerstand, though -- and can't wait to see a Griso in the flesh.
  8. I dropped by the shop (ATD) this morning and they had several in there -- including one Sport with the aftermarket Termignoni exhaust on it. Haven't ridden one yet -- don't know that I'll get the chance -- but I personally LOVE the looks of all of them. A friend just sold his MH900E and got the orange Sport. I'll check with him when he can really RIDE it (he's just breaking it in now) and see what he has to say. They'll sell all they can make -- I think. Also saw my first Breva 1100 -- complete with plastic chrome trim. Yuck. A big, homely dog of a bike -- in my (not so) humble opinion. As I hate it, it'll probably be a stellar sales success. v50
  9. No need for the drop of "snot" with the Shockproof Heavy.
  10. Congrats. Hopefully, she's better than mine...
  11. Black is Bee-yoo-tee-ful. Just wear some bright-colored underwear and RIDE!!! Put some pipes on the bike and let it pleasure you aurally...
  12. Gents -- Have been DISCHARGED from hand rehab and given the green light to attempt to ride a motorcycle. So -- I snuck out of work after lunch -- rolled out the Firebolt (it's lighter and easier to maneuver than the V11) -- fired her up -- and went. Some pain at first -- still lots of numbness (no feeling in most of right hand) -- but after about 15 minutes the hand/wrist loosened up and I was able to get semi-aggressive and lift the front wheel just a tad... Anyways, now that I have "re-qualified" on the superlight Buell, I'm next going to take the v11 out for a much-needed flogging. Cannot wait. Weather is supposed to be crap this weekend, but today was Spring-like in the ATL, so it'll probably be early next week. Perhaps I'll ride it to the surgeon's (as he has requested a last look at the wrist and is always just a burp away from buying the new BMW uberbike) next Tuesday. He'd love to see the Guzzi. Well, I'll waste no more of your time. Just wanted to share the good news as this is far earlier than I had hoped to be able to ride. Be safe... v50
  13. I'm gonna take the redhead to see it during the Super Bowl as neither of us give a tick about the game. So far, it's getting slammed in the reviews as schmaltzy and sentimental. Wouldn't it be just GREAT if I were the one rolling my eyes back into my head while the super-sensitive, uber-liberal woman got into it? Perish the thought... It opens today in ATL...
  14. Gotta go with waspp here. And, Dave Laing, WTF are you doing spelling "behavior" like our 'cross the pond friends? In the words of PJ O'Rourke,k "Give War a Chance..." Sheez...
  15. Max is testing for Jordan -- err, Midland -- again. But, at 34 years of age, it is extremely doubtful as to whether they would gample on him. In fact, there's probably a better chance of resurrecting Gerhard Berger. In other words, no way. Sad to see him fade away like this...
  16. Fuckin' A. Chalk one up for the good guys!!!! ...and let's nuke the shit sections of Oakland (the most underrated city in America)... v50 the avenging gimp!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. Awesome news. Congratulations.
  18. Plenty of garage space in ATL -- a couple hours from Columbus... v50

    Buell - Can't wait!

The n ew belts are vastly improved -- larger teeth, etc. Said to be good for a lifetime. No need to switch to a messy chain.

    Buell - Can't wait!

Buy an oil filter while you're at the dealer and change that oil at 1,000 miles!!!!!! Best of luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. Rizoma makes some nifty ones that I'll bet you'd love. LED and built rock solid. Pricey, though. Good luck -- and BEAUTIFUL BIKE! the guzzi gimp

    Nogbad's new Buell

The XB9 is revvier -- the XB12 has more low-down torque. As I recall, you're a big gujt, so the extra grunt of the 12 would probably come in handy. \ The bike yopu posted in a City Cross, which -- at present -- comes only with the 9 motor. Damn attractive -- a good price -- a great bike. My Firebolt's a 9 and I love it, but you just gotta ride one DeBen -- and YOU decide... v50
