Perhaps, but AFAIK not all things are made in Dynotec. Dare I say they're a bit too expencive i.e. 35 to 50K Euros for a Guzzila type of bike., that's my

Well last year was twice in central Europe totaling well over 10K in both tours this year only once totaling another 5k or so.here and there(local country) have done some other trips but these will be reduced this year. an over 60% was done in traveling so far.Always good , the only problem is sometimes to get of the bike. Well this year will be more relaxed as I think of. Yep, you can say that again. Maybe you can just find some original cylinders pistons on the net and have less cost , still remain on stock (easier to find?) parts. Interesting , have you measured any PS on a dyno yet , even using different PCIII maps??I mean then you'll have a more complete view of whats happening to the bike when using different maps, and also notice what is usable power. The Mistrals and the Mistral crossover didn't gave me a smooth power curve but there is plenty of tourgue from 3-4K rpm I mean plenty (will have to request the graph from Daes-Guzzi where I forgot it) to be exact but as I can recal there is minimum ,about, 60-65% of the total tourgue laying in 3500.rpm or so. Yeah that's a good idea to have some stock if you're interested on the same, but at the other hand as long as you are in stock sizes you have a broader choice. You can always use the originals in caxe of "emergency" As far as goes about lighter clutch , I recon it as not a reliable thing (those ergal made and or others that have metal removed) to have on your bike. I'll never change these, the gain is to few for the money and risk-reliablity taken. There is a stock clutch that was described as "light" from HMB Guzzi where he sells some original V11 parts. Will try posting a pic of mine latter , but you can also drop me a email to send you some. Is this a telaio Rosso V11 with ointe wheels and "dressing" or ..?

`Well I have my Guzzi for the last 19months have already made a "wooping" 39K km already.Do a lot of touring though that's not the bike's "cup of tea" in terms of comfort for doing many miles per day. The bike is still "sexy" and "charming" so I plan to keep it for a long term relationship beek. Dunno I don't want to change cylinders already but I may do that in next 24 months, and get a complete new motor for spare just to have an original 1100 at the side(if I want to restore to the "original"condition..Will have to see what's there first and then descide if I get the project moving. Original condition (no bores an extra holes) is important for me so I firstlly have in mind to bring a couple of PS out just by having the motor run at it's best, with little tunning aids. I don't expect much , I don't need to much (at the moment) I have a genuine 81PS at the wheel measured, and I know that the power curve can change and increase up to 5% or so with a bit tunning (i.e. PCIII) and so on. i.e. measured at the same time a same Corsa bike of my friend with the Termignoni exaust kit and the original Corsa chip gave out simply 83.4 HP on the wheel. The chip plays important role. I am sure have seen it on dyno while playing with chips , in and out and saw almost identical power curves though difference in power output. That's why I descided to dig the PCIII and co. kind of tunnings. Nice Mistral carbons you have there, I got some alu Mistrals fitted this season and they're sounding

Hehe thanks Paul you're giving me good ideas,I only question the reliablity of the thing because so far it hasn't apear on many "aplications" - bikes (AFAIK) P.S> I mean the Bigbore as in the MGS on the photo , was that what you mean?? About other big bore kit , I think about it when the bike would need it in some 40-70k km more or if I get too bored about how it is now.At the moment I look for ways to keep engine running as healthy as possible I didn't quite get this can you say again what you mean??

Thanks for all these infos, actually my Sport Corsa has Chip in the ECU unit, I don't know if this is possible (flashing the Unit- chip???) (even) if the maps are ready. It sounds great to just have to make ready maps on PC and put them to the unit , but if it is possible on my system. Anyways the better is to ask the ones who made these.well I'll have these infos in mind and if more are contributed I'd be glad to know. Alles bestens

Can you please say this again, Quite frankly I can't understand what does exatlly means !! Thanks
-
So what's the better deal here, Tune Boy or PCIII? Or what are the advantages and disadvantages on each.? Well for my Sporti is available a "tunned to fit" PCIII but what about Tune boy>? Any helpfull infos? Thanks
-
That's a 2 valve thing if I can recal correct producing around 126Whp. Looks a bit wierd on the MGS , an interesting conversion though it is not tested (AFAIK) as it also says in the big bore site no warantee P.S. n idea where to find such spark plug wires? Or some high quality ones for my bike.?
-
Wow , well I was thinking on a PCIII for my Sporti , but what ist it finnally this unit ? Since it bypasses the ECU (correct?) and has maps isn't it as an ECU unit? anyway , I'll try following up the topic, though I am confused, Is it really so demanding to get this PC set up or adjusted-callibrated to the machine. Gruss
-
Great to hear about that, kind of justifies what I was saying here
-
Yes. yes I've seen them faults .even on 3000km Callis , unbelievable. I am happy that my bike had done over 65K with minor valve failures, But I have changed them anyway.

You can get the whole 2 plate clutch convert system from hereComplette Clutch for V11 it is in ebay and it is due to end. The price is very good, it is NEW and deasembled from a new motor.(perhups there can be some deasemble spurs) as the seller states. It is also stated that this is the ideal kit for converting your clutch to a 2 platted one. It is ORIGINAL part and comes with guarantee from the shop. Read more about this topic hereMistral X-over thread. Dunno what else you'll need for the conversion

Well........ according to another theory(not mine) , the last real Guzzis (or last of the "modern" era Guzzi's) were produced in '98.-. We all know what happened in '99 and after.....
-
Well that explains all I wonder what parts to buy , ...hmm let me see , some clutch plates, one fork , brake disk.... a Valeo starter... , this and that. ..... .......... heeyyy you... leave this motor down ,,,it's mine......
-
Ooooops , sorry if I didn't see your post.I speak fluent German, the condition of all these parts described there is NEW (it is stated though that there may be some deasemble scratches and so on)It comes from a tested and approoved motor it also says. Yes this seller's shop has some V11 motors for sale complete(at his site) or at parts. The seller has a site as well HMB-Guzzi, Well you can look at the Teile (Parts) and the Angebote (Offers) I believe there you'll find many interesting stuff. Well the offers at ebay are a bit reduced, do you may want to check ebay first to see if you can get something in better price. So don't worry if you missed something there is almost sertain it will reapear on ebay as well.(unless is sold out) I am making a list of parts for mine and I'd probablly order all together. He'd probably ship to England as well as he states he is shipping worldwide, I had already got a pair of Carbs for a friend's LemanII here in Greece, the transaction was pretty OK and quick (Tip is: ask for insured Airmail post ,best thing to do and have your mind at ease) I hope you find these helpfull. If you need any other translation drop me a mail in case I miss to answer this thread on time.

It normally takes a 55/60W headlight bulb in there, didn't a 100W caused any thermal ptoblems to the headlight (inside)? or any other electrical "starve" to the bike??
-
In my 1100ie Guzzi workshop manual it is stated that with the lever on you should have 4,000rpm.Dunno if it is the same with the V11's or how important it is. But that's how it is said to be tunned, you may have to check it out.
-
Will you go there??
-
Alright that was pretty informative, Thanks jrt.

With Piaggio many things are possible,If , and then again IF, they opt that Guzzi should have a sport bike in their line , then they would produce something about it. Dunno if it would be an MGS1 or something similar based to that. So let's bring some facts on the table and see where they lead At the start(before Piaggio took over) the problem was that they couldn't get the Euro 3 specs on the bike's motor , I guess there wasn't enough time and money for development towards that , so that's why the street leagal version was left over (one of the reasons) and it was produced on limmited racing version, may even not be only reason that but there was also not a possibility at the momment to produce any more of these 4valve motors (as heared ), and or for other various reasons as well (I won't get into that) ABout so has to be the situation now( I assume). Well considering that the Breva is selling well and perhaps the Griso could also go as well or even better on the market, then a senario having Piaggio to opt for a Sport Guzzi bike seems to be in some possibility. My is that Guzzi always(as we all know) had a sport motorcycle in it's line (more or less competitive with the lot), so why not now?.....Hmmm but for the reason that nowdays the market is hard and people demand performance, someone can say, ....Well but looking a bit ahead I can tell you that there is a vast sport public on the scene- that have got tired about the PS competition with HP that cannot be used 100% on normal street conditions (Except if your name is McGuiness ...or one of these TT fellas) -and really want to have a capable chasis bike, with individual eye candy design and some usable power. I believe Guzzi can give this at a degree of success with a street leagal sport bike (whatever it may this be). Hope you get what I mean.
-
But well don't you know people tend to buy identical motorcycles these days, take a look around. The Breva 11 as is now produced is a total different motorcycle from the lot I've seen it ,I rode it(on Mandelo) and it still was so. The Griso is even more individual. Developing a 12 motor though ,that's the catch I would love to see it happen. As for looks we'll have to wait and see. Breva is a comfy tourer as a class and needs some descent wind protection I hope they'd come with something as individual to stand the Guzzi name.

That's no big requirement for voltage these things consume almost nothing.....hmmm eerrrr , compared to the below I mean. Well that will give the power system a run for his money.. Dunno , all I need is a healthy motor ignition .as "healthier" as it gets without having to drill any holes in it for twin spark , ect.ect. Anyone else on this subject>?
-
.........And the fact that Guzzi will once have to wake up and get real and strat selling bikes that many many people like, and definatelly would buy. And another fact is 4 out of 10 motorcyclists I have asked around ,riding Jap sport bikes answered that they would rather have an MGS1 that a Jap. crate if such a good looking and capable bike could be offered in a competitive price, one out of 100 said it is missing 20PS and about 60% of the rest were positive on having one with round 100WHP than the jap sport crate they had.

Here is another scan I have from a rescent MOTORRAD magazine. It states that this is a computerised model , but also in the artikle states that something is probably planned for the Milan show.
