1.You should try a Sport 1100i Corsa. It vibrates lively (lovely ) as a girl having orgasm, 2.It is as perscise in riding and razor percise in turning as cutting with my Cold Steel's Tai Pan 3.When in scratch lean angles is as comfy and stable as traveling on a train 4.Tourge with my dynotec chip is as fat as an Elephants belly. 5.Makes every Japan bike that comes next to it really look like a carrot.. and sound like farting trompet....INDEED ...LOL And that's the privilage and joy of riding a bike like a 1100Sport corsa. OK the list is endles...and taste is taste. So if a bike doesn't come close to criteria like above it's better to be sold

Never gonna use any Jap tire on my Italian beauty. Only Pirellis or Metzeler, by far better on every section and many different tire types for every occation. Sportec M1 from Metzeler gave me so much confidence over my Sport 1100i Will have to give the Pirellis a try as well though. I 'll use(now on the way) a touring rubber mix at the rear and a more sporty mix at the front from Pirelli Cheers

Thanks for making this thread interesting. When I get these rear wheel bearings will post their numbers here as well

Here 's an info I would like to share with you and it may be usefull.Especially if you like to make a stok on these parts. Rescently I have changed the front wheel bearings on my 1100i Sport Corsa. I used these SKF 6304-2RS1 (this one is only MADE IN ITALY version on the market as I have seen)for the right side bearing as we sit on the bike and the other is 6205-2RSH I have these Marchesini rims(stock ones) with the Brembo decal on them , dunno if it is the same for the stock rims V11 , but I think it has to be AFAIK If anyone knows the SKF bearing numbers for the back wheel , just write it down here. Thanks

Great travel, nice pics , I'll keep reading this since I checked only a few lines. ITALY is indeed one very beautyfull contry. I m much surpased of south and middle Germany that is top of my taste so far. Praque, I have heared so many of this city post any pics of you have. Great... great. thread , keep posting. Want to do also some east-central France, by best conditions this year. Didn't read so far, but what kind of navigation did you use (maps , GPS,...ect.ect.) and what are your experiences with it in that trip...ect.ect.

A Power commander for the Sport 1100i ????? Where is this for sale.? BTW Yes one getsbetter milliage when driving near the power band where the tourgr of the motor is. I get a average consuption of 6,5 to 6,7 liters /100km traveling with average speed of 160km/h or somewhere there (most times is about 130 average)

Well seriouslly I don't know where the heck are these things on a V11 , OK I don't have a V11 but is there a difference with mine ,... at least. Thanks
-
I have also some Hein Gericke that worked good but as of right now I I have damaged the inside membrane(wear from in-out ,in -out use) and there can be some leaks, I guess, I'll buy some new ones if they don't work.
-
About that problem I can offer you as well my opinion. Well if there is no cfuse or cable connections fault , you should try if it is the buld that's not doin its job. Well you can try this at first anyway. I had a bigger problem on mine since the bulb didn't make a good connection and after some motor vibrations the light was totally off. Then I have replaced the blub and did this: WIth a soldering Iron I have added solder and made the connection-balls of the bulb bigger in size. Well the problem was routed to the base of the light but that helped solving them. Actually your problem may not be that, it may just be that you're placing the bulb at wrong side.... let me make this clear. just place again your bulb 180 rotated base I also did this on mine but it is up to you to try it on yours . I have now a LED bulb after doing the same with that and found the right spot where it worked perfectlly and added a couple of drops of epoxy glue in its base. Now is rock solid in the right spot and with 100,000 hours lasting of working time it better stay this way there.

As far as spark plugs goes I have in use the iridium ones and yes they're the best to use. At least that's also the opinion of Dynotec.
-
Yep , all the above
-
What a waste of money....LOL... Can someone give 'em to me . Ipromise I'll buy only Guzzis....
-
Ohh my, Oohh my, that was good..... chilling.. chilliing... !! Catching dream.... Carl all the best for you and let the rest go by...
-
Yeah I use also the Sportec and it is a tire that has given me a lot of confidence , due to it's grip, when going around corners. It is actually mede f ro going around corners...LOL. Yes the back tire is getting a bit flat easier then the front.I notice a 25-30% more wear on the back than the front and I am not pushing it hard at all. OK there is tourgue thre guys y'know so that may be reasonable. Damn the /60 profile is lowering the back sit of the bike for about 2-3cm and I like it more high. Heck with the geometry change but I can really notice that small difference on height. The touring /70 profilers are the Dragon GTS i think along with the Me Z4 (it they make them still) but these don't provide as descent grip as the SPortecs.... Well well well yet something more to think about in the next tire change..

OK let us know when ready , I'm in ....interested.

RGR that Paul, that idea(No sportsbikes) sounds more stupid as thinking :it would be better if Ducati had bought the Guzzi. Gimme a break if it is llike this then what worse would be if Guzzi was bought by the Duck?? If you were at the race and got any videos of MGS racing, if there's any way to let me have them , just let me know. Cheers Paul PS I've been a bit away and going nuts till some situations settle right for me. Think to go buy a Guzzila and therefore I am going more nuts .....; Better to keep me thinking of something else, it's a "virus" , it will pass if I give it some time..

I am also interested in having one. Especially one that extends upwards to protect the shock mount (if one can be made). Also the one depicted in the first page of this thread in the Sport 1100i ( I have a 1100i) is the absolute optimum for me.Definnatelly would buy. So "edge" pls contact me with any available guard you do and set up the rest details.

And what was that??

DAYTONA RS = 113 in '96 and 195 in '97 the latest-rarest models with front brakes like the Guzzi Corsa (ala Duc. 996)
-
Well this oneOil stickwill definatelly improve the redability and quality of what you have already in your bike. I myself have purhased one and I would recomend it 100% ,quality is TOP and so is the price.Moto Schmitz has some "Gadgets" for Guzzis with style and very good quality made. The aluminium makes best contrast with oil , so in terms of redability you wont find anything better. This is also another option but I have not tried it.Oil Stick 2

Even charity in our days has become a "part of the show".Well OK it is good that it exists but I doupt if one gets to understand what's goin on I know that's sound cynical but true

They are rebuildable in the terms of deasemble them and assemble them again. Fill them with new oil ect.ect. I had my mechanicer who did this for me At the other hand there are NOT any original Bitubo orings-gaskets on the market. So taken to this point one can say that they're not rebuildable. So one has to find custom ones that they'll fit to the dimensions and reasemble the damper. But I think that is possible if search in a shop that sells these rubber (or alike)orings. I gave up though my Bitubo and have a WP damper on mine now.
-
I have installed a WP at my 1100i Sport Corsa. It has also a gas tank and comes with 32 addjustment scale You can check out this thread also Steering damper alternatives with my post on 4th page

Yeah this F1 is boring , not because of the ferrari winning but mostlly to the the very poorly chances for overtaking (compared with motorcycling- GP or SBK)in the track. Well actually the only way to break the monotony of the Ferraris winning was to make such rules that the Ferraris won't win. That's a shame. If they can't make fast cars of have the winning drivers they'd better the Italian supermacy (Italian-German , I mean).

Great, If you go there don't forget forget your to bring cammeras with and keep us posted with some nice pics ,videos, or whatever.
