  1. I have acquired a new 13 mm clutch master cylinder for the bike. Fitted it and bled the clutch line . Out on a test run and when i change gear (sometimes) there is a increase in revs but no forward momentum, drop down a gear and seems to go OK . Or i am going along  at higher revs all seems ok then it seems to slip, is this symptoms of a worn clutch, splines or slave cylinder sticking. definitely unrideable the way it is  :bbblll:

  2. When i fit my tankbag harness i take the seat off and take the bolt that holds the petrol tank on, off. The bolt and washer then go through the harness and put back on with the 2 straps going round the headstock. Think there is 2 holes because there are 2 sizes of tank (99 to 03 then 03 to 05??)

  3. I think i have the same problem?. Pulling into petrol station and the lever went straight back to the bar. It came back again after afew seconds, done it again a few times on way home (150 miles). Doesnt look as if i have lost any/much fluid as i never noticed the level before it happened. Took off the grommet at side of flywheel case and it has i think fluid in it. Oh well looks like i need to pull the slave out for a look. Need a new back tyre anyway.

  4. Out for a run and hear a bang, stop and check the bike and find the Reg/rectifier and bracket hanging off the bike. Lash it up and get home.  when i am taking it off notice that the weld has failed on one side where the bracket attaches to the frame and the other side has failed on the bend. Late last year i had to change one of the horns as the bracket had failed as well. Would it be vibration causing this!! :huh2:  as it seems like a weird thing to happen. Also while unplugging the rectifier i notice that the plug with 2 yellow wires is burnt and the wires don't look good on the loom side either. So i will have to take the sub frame out to get the bracket welded back on. Does anyone know a part no. for the male/female plugs used for the rectifier to the loom.

  5. Welcome PJ. 2 cafe sports, no wonder i have never seen another one out on the road, when i first got mine i was told that only 4 were imported to the UK, been to a few rallies hoping to get a pic of my bike alongside another, now i know why that never happened. I have had the bike 10 years now and it has been a joy to own thanks to this site, it is a goldmine of info for your home servicing. If you are ever in Scotland give me a shout.

  6. What about the rossopuro ones, they are beautifully made and came in a few colours as well. Dont know if they still make them but there site does show parts for the V11' but unfortunately no photos.

  7. Saw a scura R going up fordingbridge high street about 5 years ago, that one had the same exhaust as the one in the pictures. I have seen one other but that had the ti exhaust system. Think there was only 4 imported to the UK.

  8. I am on my 4th headlight, 2 i have had broken by flying stones cracking the glass, but the headlamp buckets are prone to cracking on cafe sport, ballabio etc. i have a spare sitting in the garage as i know the fitted one will go sometime. It is the same headlamp as the breva 750, so trawl eBay etc. for a bargain.
