Hey guys, are these the type of fuel line fittings on the newer tanks? Just curious.

Put eight miles on the Ural with the wife in the sidecar. Beautiful day. Too bad she dislikes riding on the back of the Guzzi, it would have been a whole lot easier to ride in the side winds.

Not if they're implants.

Sorry Joe, but if we let you have any more money, we'd just be financing your addiction to motorcycles. Then you'll pop on down to the Ducati shop and buy that Rosso Mandello and start all over again. Think kindly of us Joe, we're trying to help.

Err.... fourplay?

I used to see a lot of wild turkeys (the fowl, not the drink) up by the VA Hospital. I was surprised to hear the females going "Kirk, Kirk!" instead of "gobble, gobble". I kept looking around for Kirk. Didn't see him or Spock. Lying turkeys...

How odd. We have that same crappy food in the USA too...

How did you test the alternator after the experiment gone wrong? You may have fried the new regulator, not the alternator. If the alternator is bad, http://www.electrosport.com/ can rewind it for you.

I bought a used set of WP's from a Sport 1100i when I put FrankenSport back together. They're probably somewhere between stock and Ohlins as suspension components. They are an (almost) a direct bolt in replacement. The almost comes from the slightly different fender mount holes. You can get the stock V11 Sport fender to attach, but it's a stretch.
-
They are pricey. $25 USD. Had to replace the one on my alternator cover.

AUCTION OF AN IMPORTANT COLLECTION OF 'MOTO GUZZI' MOTORCYCLES On Saturday April 1st, 2006 HESSINK's Auctions Nijmegen - The Netherlands will sell an important private collection of Italian MOTO GUZZI motorcycles. This collection consists of about 125 motorcycles and other objects. Owner of this collection is the well-known Dutch MOTO GUZZI importer Teo Lamers from Nijmegen, who acquired this collection over the past 40 years. As most motorcycle lovers know, Teo Lamers has meanwhile immigrated to Australia and has therefore transferred his MOTO GUZZI import business to his nephews. Transferring his collection of motorcycles to Australia, however, obviously was not as easily said as done; it turned out to be rather problematic. This is why Teo Lamers decided to entrust HESSINK's Auctions Nijmegen to sell his entire private collection of MOTO GUZZI motorcycles. The collection mainly consists of motorcycles built between 1926 and 1960. Amongst them are very fine and rare cycles, e.g. 2VT 500cc (1928), ALLE 500 cc (1935), GTV 500 cc (1940), Sport-15 500 cc (1931), GT-17 500 cc (1932) and many more. Apart from these MOTO GUZZI motorcycles there is a vast supplement of about another 100 rare specimen e.g. Eyssink 350cc (1951), FN 4-cilinder (1912), Vincent (1951), BMW R3 300cc (1936), Levis 225cc (1923) and so on. The sales further include 50 antique bicycles dating from the 19th and early 20th centuries. The sales start at 11.00 h. a.m. The luxurious full-colour catalogue (code: guzzi-motorcycles) costs ? 25,00 (postage excluded) and can be ordered by email to in-@hessink.nl. For more information please visit our HESSINK's website: www.hessink.nl Hessink's Auctions Kamerlingh Onnesstraat 35 6533 HK Nijmegen Netherlands tel: +31 (0)24 - 35.555.90 fax: +31 (0)24 - 35.555.29 www.hessink.nl / in-@hessink.nl

Re-posting the old photos to this site instead of remotely. Note the cheesy quick and dirty horn relay mount. Note also the equally quick and dirty temporary oil cooler mount (right side) made from ABS plastic. It fractured after about 6000 miles. These are all photos from before the bike was totalled. After the rebuild, the horn relay was moved to another location.

www.christina-model.com Looks like she might have graduated from high school in 2004. Draw your own conclusions.

Likewise. I can't help but wonder what her mother looks like though...

I have a set of forks, no spare triple tree though. PM me. I've already gone through the misery of collateral damage so I'm suggesting that you search this forum as it's pretty well covered and I don't want to go through the process of describing it all again. Suffice it to say, 20 mph forward into a car going 15 mph backwards can cause an extraordinary amount of damage.

How would you like to have taken this to your high school prom?

Truly Stupid Things To Do With A Motorcycle Gentleman, I swear that all of the stories here - "Truly Stupid Things To Do With A Motorcycle" Parts 1 through 3 and the "Chris, Bronson and the Bonnie" are true stories. Names have not been changed to protect the identity of the dumb-asses involved. No dumb-asses were actually harmed in the process of claiming their moment of non-glory however, none of the dumb-asses involved escaped without a healthy dose of humility. In 1971, Chris had already acheived his level of notoriety locally but was by no means the only person in Riverside, California that demonstrated levels of dumbassity normally associated with the totally clueless. Chris had a friend named Ross that lived in an apartment that had no garage but did have a car-port that covered one of his most prized possesions - a Velocette Thruxton belonging to his late father. One morning, very early in the A.M., Ross heard a "Thump - Crash - EEEYYAAGGHH!!!". Ross jumped out of bed, ran to the carport and there, over the Thruxton, was a motorcycle thief - with his head and part of his torso stuck through the carport roof! After the Fire Department removed the somewhat damaged young man from the roof and administered first aid, the police hauled him off to jail. If you're going to steal a high-compression single cylinder motorcycle, you'd best know how to properly kick-start it!

20 miles, 18 Degrees F, big smile and really cold fingers. What a blast!

I also have a set of forks from a 2000 V11 Sport. These have been re-valved. Since they're Mike Stewarts old ones, he could tell you more about the details. PM me off line if you're interested.

Moto Guzzi spent 50,000 hours testing the new engine. One wonders just how many hours were spent testing the new CARC suspension. 10,000? 5000? 250? Lunch hour and a trip to Luigi's?

Crap. I got 0 out of 12! How in hell...
