It has not ended in Dakar for sometime but the important thing is this was a rally accross Africa. Imagine moving the monte carlo to Australia

That's life...what else can they do with all the "name"? The event hosts need to name a "Dakar rallye winner" not an "Argentina anything winner...
But they are not as they have not won the Dakar Rally they have won one in South America, they should have just cancelled it

When is Dakar not Dakar when it's in Argentina. This would be like moving the IOM TT to Majorca this is possibly the stupidest motorsport move ever just call it the Argintine Raid or some other suitable title, it's not Dakar

Yes, the main point is that someone with 'too much money' spent a fortune on messing-up for everyone including his co-driver who appeared to get nothing from the whole experience, apart from condecension. It was clear that others with more understanding and genuine involvement had spent much, much less on entering cars that they loved and they actually completed the event. A programme on some of those guys and their cars would be much more interesting than the vacuous celebrity chef.
Nice cars, nice place and nice, in a way, to see that money doesn't count for everything.
Like the guys in the bubble car it's the taking part not the wining as us Guzzi guys already know

Lets hoe the mechanic got his balls in his hands those cars were prone to valve problems did the experts not check this out beforehand well they will get a celebrity chef to pay only they could be so stupid, great event but a film about an expensive 120 mile disaster

Uk police also use fast motorcycles this summer I ran into two of them at tyndrum one on the usual pan the other on an R1 last year I was stoppped by an RSVR cop bike. The new lightbars they are fitting are also very hard to see as at a distance it looks like a roof rack
