  1. I'd like to make this although, I won't know if my vacation request is granted until a month or so before the event.

    I don't camp because then I don't sleep, and then I'm miserable.

does that get you drummed out of the corp?

    anyways...I'd like to think I'm 50% confirmed.

You just need to get very pissed so you can sleep bring a bottle of Sid with you that should help

  2. Back in the days Commando's were new a guy in Edinburgh called Fred ( ex blue angel ) used to build 960 roadsters these were very quick bikes and reliable they used to blow away suzi gs 1000's without any trouble, Fred used to badge them as 750's pissing off many a jap bike rider they could not belive they had just been beaten by an old 750. If they were set up these were nice bikes to ride ,have a look at the Norvil's and the Gus Khun's. I had a Gus Khun interstate lovely bike.

  3. remember seeing that green griso about a year ago, nice wheels. Recently saw a stelvio parked next to a gs the stelvio aint so ugly and it's a very narrow bike compared to the gs

  4. As said before, I'll be there. I'll probably take the two ferries and do some touring in Scotland and/or NI before or after the meeting. The way it is now, I'll take the GF with me. (I hope neither of us will change our mind)

good idea maybe we can hook up with this much notice should be able to do something

  5. Very sad to hear the news of Johns death both he and Gyles were also members of the V7 sport/750s/S3 forums and web sites the contribution they both made will be sadly missed

  6. Here is an off the wall suggestion could all Guzzi owners not buy the factory between them there must be some rich owners out there. We could give Piaggio a token 1 euro for goodwill

  7. Guzzi being Guzzi the screen on that carbon is different to the one on the standard the holes are in different places for no reason but we can make them that way just to @#!#$# you up. I don't know where you can get one I've been trying for two years

  8. Thought I would report in after a year of using bridgestone battleax 014's. What an improvement these tyres have made to my bike it is transformed from a slow turning slug into a very flickable motorcycle, the handling improvement has been stunning only yesterday I was on a very twisty road the A7 ( have a look on the map you will see what I mean) the control and confidence these tyres give through fast changing bends is quite something. This road goes left right left right with some very long corners even I have been surprised at the bikes willingness to change direction very quickly this was certainly not the case with the standard factory 020's. The wear has been exceptable considering the vast improvement of the bike. It was just one of those days when you realise why you love your Guzzi. Incidently I was visiting the Aero leather factory in Gala probally the best leather jackets in the world.
