I'VE observed a mate go through the right bike for me thing over the last couple of years. now he never makes a quick decision and spent months test riding lots of bikes. now he's preety much a loner in some respects but likes his riding, so he buys a hd 1200 sportster new does the couple of grand on acessories thing and seems happy but then comes on a couple of rides with the fellows up the mountain through some excellent twisties and is no longer happy with his ride[doesn't like the through the bend riding on metal skids] so he trades it for a buell 1200 xbs. now he's brightened up and is able to keep with the boys so we're trying to get him touring with us. he agrees and comes along on one of our four day distance tours interstate and enjoys it. but finds distance rides on the buell very uncomfortable so he changes the bars on return. but alas no satisfaction. so he trades the buell for a new bmw r1200s and to date is smiling ear to ear. moral of the story! HAPPY NEW YEAR.
just read press release from mz. new brochure in jan 2007. 1000s to stay in production. malaysian owners say hard times but model selection to increase in four year plan. wish i knew this link thingy. ciao gazza,, happy new year. ride safe.
now settle down pete no one was calling you black pommy but sadly to me the anti PC peoples are as rantingly annoying as the PC peoples. after studying the pic closely they ''the black petes'' all appear to be female. and the big ho ho jolly fellows helpers allways appear to be male and yes more hooters not HO HO's.
just today put a set of pilot powers on the muz660 a bit over the top maybe but it handles so much better than with the bridgestone bt45's. would have fitted pilot roads but couldn't get in 150/60-110/55. i've been running the pilots on the cagiva and am more than happy with the grip wet or dry and getting 11k km for rear 13k km front when replacing at the wear limit markers. now the muz came standard with pirelli dragons nice and sticky but the rear was totally shagged at 6k km the front shortly after. this from a bike of 170kg and 50bhp. ciao gazza. merry christmas to all.
in victoria they call it a slab! but here in N.S.W we just call it a carton. a flat is a place some people live! or a disapointing episode on the road... ciao gazza.
would't you know the first coves to read your post were sepos and canaks and didn't understand. and i'm not surprised if the poms pretend not to either. as the empire fades away they are becoming quite used to loss.....long live the king..
11.00 pm DST south of the equator....21.0 c outside and on last bike at rest in shed saying! ''ready when you are baby...ok..i'll see you in the morning..
