  3. I had similar fittings that came stock on my 1997 Triumph t595. Before selling the Triumph, I put 40,000+ miles on her and it did not leak once. I removed the tank at lease 10-12 times in that period of time. It made removing the tank simple and straight forward. These attchments are similar to ones that are used in labs but they have different types of orings for different chemical uses. I sell these at MCMaster-Carr. I'm pretty sure that you can get more info concerning application for different types of chemical for these fittings at mcmaster.com. Hope this was helpful.
  4. Hello All, I need the part number for the needle bearing on the rear shaft area. The bearing is not on the wheel but actually on the shaft. I recently purchased new tires and will change out the bearings to the front and rear wheels and this shaft needle bearing. I tried searching but only saw a picture of it. The person that had the picture cleaned the bearing vs replacing it. I would like to have the bearing in hand before starting this project. Thanks again.
  5. Stop your fricken winning. I will rather pay my taxes and live in a safe country than not pay any taxes (maybe) and live in a second or third world country. If you do not like it, immigrate to a less oppressive country than Canada (maybe somewhere in Africa). I'm not a Canadian. I grew up in a third world country until I was eight. I was six when the war ended and seen things that a child should never see. Since that time, I have been to many countries and have seen first hand how great we have it in North America (yes, even Mexico). I served my country (USA) on several occasions and have no problem paying my fair share in taxes. I'm educated enough (B.S.   6. PCIII originally tuned by Orange County Motorsport but after adding the PODS and X-over, I had Todd E. emailed me a download close to my specs and the I fiddled with it a little. The valve adjutments were tested after the PCIII adjustment.
  7. Noise was not affected, I think (I ride with earplugs). The .006 - .008 is the Raceco specs. Valve adjustment is very simple - 45 minutes the last time that I adjusted her. Try all of them and see for yourself.

Here is several tests that I've done to get to this conclusion: V11 modifications: FBF Carbon pipes Stucchi xover K&N Pods Power Commander Valve adjustment: at USA specs .002-.004 - two tanks full - 34 miles per gallon at World specs .004 - .006 - three tanks full - 31 miles per gallon at .006 - .008 - three tanks full - 38 miles per gallon Seat of the pants conclusion: The bike is much smoother at the .006 -.008 setting. The bike had cold start issues with the USA and World specs. The bike was also stalling when coming to a stop sign/light after a long ride. No longer having this issue with the .006 - .008 specs. My commute is 60 miles per day and the bike has 18000+ miles on it. It is much smoother and so much more fun to ride at this spec. Have fun and ride safe. TTP

  11. You can eliminate the off-throttle issue with a PCIII with the following settings from 0, 2, and 4 throttle position and the rpm increments starts at 500 rpm with increments of 250 rpm. Leave the rest alone (the way you had it set). If you have a PCIII w/o usb, just match the the following RPM range set-up. This is for any options (stucchi x-over, pipes, etc). Just try it!   12. I saw somewhere that there is a plate that was design for 2001 or prior sport to support the transmission. I have the mounting bracket on the frame. I need the part number so I can order it.
  13. I'm leaking trans fluid onto the x-over. It is a very light leak but I want to track it down. Any hints would be appreciated. 2001 sport.
  14. I had my v11 with FBF pipes dynoed with a PCIII a couple of years ago. I just tuned it and decided to add the K&N Pods (RU-182). The bike feels lean. Does someone have a similar set-up with a PCIII? Thanks in advance.
  15. How do you shut off the fuel from an electronically control fuel pump from a 2001 v11? I need to know how to shut off the fuel so I can remove my tank.

  17. I will check on Monday concerning stock. Are these bearings doulbe shielded or double sealed? Are they 440 stainless or standard steel? Email me your address and If the bearings are in stock, you will have them on Tuesday.
  18. Give me the part number or size that you need and I can have the bearings to your place by Tuesday. The bearings will most likely be SKF or INA. The SKF should be swedish in origin. The INA are made all over the world. I will accept a thank you and that's it. I just want to see how this set-up turns out.
  19. Just purchased some K&N pods (RU-1780). How do I remove the airbox? What should I be watching out for? I have a PCIII and FBF cans. The PCIII was dyno tuned by OC motorsport last year. Do I need to richen-up the mixture once the pods are installed? Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

  21. How do I get in touch with MPH? I guess - manual petcock for me too. Nothing is wrong with my current electric unit but you never can tell.
  22. Had the same problem. Bad rear left (brake side) bearing. Replaced as a pair 2000 miles ago and to date no more groaning. Easy check is to take the rear wheel off and rotate the bearings. If they are not smooth or slightly gritty, you have a bad bearing. The whole job of removing the wheel and replacing the bearings took less 2 hrs and this is with no prior experience with wheel removal. The hints from the guys on this site are incredible. Tools: rubber mallet screwdriver or punch socket set
  23. Mine broke at about 3000 miles on both side. I called Orange County Motorsport and they told me that that they had the brackets in stock and that it would be a warranty service. Rode down to the dealer (55miles) and the parts manager told me that they only had one in stock. I was told that they had to order one and that it maybe several weeks before they will receive it. Mickey (General Manager) walked by and told the parts manager to pull one from a bike on the floor and replace it. Wow, that was customer service. No problem with the brackets since.
  24. I used EBC HH and they were pretty good but Dunlop HH green pads are the best. Used them on my Triumph T595 and V11 and they had less fade and better feel.
  25. This is my discussion with Docc: Thang, Any news on the springs? docc Docc, I had a second suppplier looked at them but our volume was too low. I was quoted a $68 set up fee and $9 per spring if we had a minimum made of 100 each. This price was only for the paw spring. This quote was much higher than expected. I did not proceed any further because I didn't think that 100 people would be interested in this purchase. Tell me what you think. Thang Can we get 100 buyers? or Should we just get them from Oklahoma? What is less expensive?
