  1. I am going to purchase a H4 HID upgrade that was made for a Honda(auto). I will try and fit it to my v11s. If anybody have any advice or info on how to make this a simple process please chime in.
  2. Have anybody used the new K&N oil filter? It has a built-in nut. I'm not sure if we have clearance for that nut. The K&N filter was about 1/2" to 3/4" longer than the Fram filter. The K&N unit was much heavier and looked to have better build quality. The K&N was $9.99 as compared to the $4.99 Fram. I would pay extra for the K&N but need to know if it will fit (lengthwise). If you have used this filter, please reply with the needed info.
  3. I have trouble with the choke lever staying at a setting. It seems to be tight and the only way it will stay at a setting is with my finger forcing it down. I tried to adjust it but the choke lever get too much play and as a result no gas to my injectors. I played with it for at least 30 minutes and stop because fuel was leaking from my throttle body. Any hints will be appreciated.
  4. I have a new PCIII and need a download version for my set-up. Fast by Feracci Pipes Stock crossover stock airbox Thanks in advance, TP
  5. I was born in Vietnam and moved to California when I was 8 (1977). When high school ended, I joined the military and was a Ranger with the 82nd Airborne Division. My stint with army ended in mid 1990(I took part in Panama but lucked out of The Gulf) and off to college I went. A few years later, I met the woman of my dream and we got married in 1986. Her only vice is that she is in the medical profession and has a dislike to motorcycle. We now have a beautiful 18 months old daughter. I have always been into motorcycling. The first car that I purchased was the day that I found out that we were having a baby. I have owned an FZ600, two GSXR750s, a Ducati F1b, a CBR600, an Interceptor 500, a Triumph t595, a BMW R75/6 (the original bike that was in Cheech and Chong Next Movie) and the current V11s. I had the Ducati through out my military service and when it ended, I took a three-month ride on the F1b across the United States. Damn, we live in a beautiful country. I chose the V11s because this is the first bike that stirs my soul. I must admit the power is not like my other sport bikes but is enough to make me happy. The handling is better than I thought and the brakes are exceptional. The motorcycling bug too has afflicted me. Riding is part of me. I'm most happy and productive when I'm riding. Motorcycling is very much part of my life. I am currently a senior expansion team leader at McMaster-Carr.
  6. They had 36 PMIII left for the 2000-01 Quotas. They ran out of the units for the 2000-01 v11s but I checked with DynoJet and they told me that the unit for the Quota is the same exact unit for the v11s and the only different is the software. The tech at Dynojet told me that I can download the correct mapping from their website and then download it into the PWIII. I placed the order with K&N (800-992-4993) using part number 83-709-211(Quota). The unit is $145 and shipping is included. I had to pay sales tax because I live in CA. I hope this will help the people that are looking for the discounted PWIII.
