This is the same tail light that's used on a Ducati Monster. Do a search for a monster tail light on EBay and you'll see a lot of different options.

I have the AGV titech and warning about this helmet, it has a "race fit". Order one size larger than you would normally wear. I normally would wear a large but wear an XL in the titech. Its a little loud (wind noise) with all its venting but I do like it. I would never pay retail price for it and got mine for about $350 (demo model) from AGV.com.

Stainless isn't shiny until its polished, if you don't like the shine take some fine steel wool to them. One thing is for sure, Staintunes sound great!

Hey Ratch, Sorry for the delayed response. No, nothing wrong with using this type of chain on your thumper. I was just saying, you could have saved some cash and without all the frustration (but you already figured this out). Your thumper doesn't produce enough HP's to warant such a strong chain(rivet-type). X-ring chains are excellent and supposedly don't rob as much HP's as a standard o-ring chain. I use them on my vintage dirt bikes but I use the ones with a press on side plate and a clip. With proper installation and maintenance I've never seen one of these master links fail.

My chain press only presses on the side plate(never use vice grips), I use a chain breaker to do the breaking. The RK X-ring chains I've been using still use a clip. I see what your saying about the peening of the master link. These types of chains are known as endless riveted chains, usually used in high horsepower applications. They do make a special tool (expensive) for the peening of these high strength master links, however your thumper doesn't need this style of chain because it doesn't produce enough horsepower to warrant such a strong master link. Simply put, you bought to much chain! Usually the way you tell if you're machine needs this type of chain is the OE chain will be an endless riveted chain(no visible master link). I'm surprised your chain isn't damaged, I hope you checked for binding.

Hey Ratch, you can buy a chain breaker at Lowes for less than $30 (look in the drawers in the hardware department). From my experience you don't need to peen a master link on an x-ring chain most are press fit. I use a mini chain press tool by Motion Pro, works on 520 and 530 chains. These are available at most any mc shop for under $15. Sounds to me like your working to hard, these tools really make the job a lot faster and doesn't take nearly as much elbow grease. I agree, the shaft drive has its advantages... chicks dig it!

That is great advice you gave Skeeve. As far as Techroline in the states its called Techron and is available at most any auto parts store. Techron is also an additive in the premium gasoline, available at Chevron gas stations. Enjoy the Guzzi dhansen.

If your mirrors won't hold there position try this cheap and easy fix. All you need is some green loctite. Apply to ball and socket of the mirror, move the mirror around so the loctite works its way in. Adjust mirrors to desired position and let sit for 10 or 15 minutes before riding. I've put 1000 miles on my Guzzi since doing this and they still are holding position. I've even bumped my mirrors several times while pulling my bike out of the garage, all I do is put them back in position and the hold nice and tight. New mirrors for a Sport 1100 run about $50 each you can buy a lot of loctite for a $100. I don't think other colors of Loctite will work for this application because they are made to lock threads. Green Loctite is made to hold shafts to races of bearings. Keep your eyes on the road, instead of looking over and adjusting your mirrors all the time.

The exhaust is stock but the inner cones have been drilled out for a little more rumble. It sounds pretty nice, but not to loud. The goodies include Heli bars, Stucchi crossover (awesome looking piece), K&N filter pods, GEI relays (a must), Odyssey battery, stainless hardware, Polished aluminum alternator cover, Joe Kenny head guards, stainless bar end weights with built in throttle locker and most importantly the transmission bearing modification. On the subject of the transmission, I've read that some people complain of the noise (whine) of the straight cut gears in the five speed gearbox. I think it sounds nice and racy. I like it!
