  1. Exactly beuph. It is mechanical art in a form I find very appealing. Doesn't matter what kind of machine it is I've always been facinated by mechanical genious and even mechanical idiocy on occasion. I hope you manage to keep out of harms way.
  2. I had a Remington M700 chambered for the little .17Rem Cartridge. It was a hoot to play with. Big bang, but absolutely no recoil and accurate as could be. I don't remember the ballistics but it was impressive for such a little thing. We normally fired that MP5 off my friends deck at a gong set up across the pond. There was a certain time in the afternoon when the sun would reflect off the base of the bullets on the way to the gong. Just like a tracer. You could follow it all the way to the target.
  3. I'd like to try an M4 in 9mm. Put quite a few rounds through an HK MP-5 a few years back and really liked it. Also had a buch of fun with a .22LR conversion in a full auto M16. Tedious part was loading up the clips.
  4. Too funny! seems to know a bunch of different languages as well.
  5. Have you tried searching the archives for oil info? Do so and you will become an expert like everyone else on this forum. I'm running Amzoil in the engine and Redline in the gear and bevel boxes. Oh, and might as well add, cheap-ass Wallyworld filter with a hose clamp on it!

    Hi all

And from all walks of life and culture (or lack of.........) bound by the common bond of Guzzi. A wonderful form of world deplomacy. Thank you Jaap! Welcome Dimitris.
  7. While you guys are arguing over the merits of Union membership, thousands of our best jobs, union shop or not, are being sent overseas. Meanwhile, the people who own and manage the companies that have abandoned the USA enrich their lives with increased profits and dividends while the blue collar workers that lost their jobs enrich their lives flipping burgers at McDonalds. I think the american worker has his tit in a wringer and nobody seems to care where the switch is. Sorry, maybe we should move this portion of the thread to Banter....................
  8. Well done there Mr. Roper. The road to recovery begins with one admitting he has a problem.
  9. Typical askin' for opinions situation. Everyone has a different formula for skinning the cat. I bet 325 F would be just right.
  10. Hey Ratch. I did a quick Google search and came up with a neat site: http://www.auf.asn.au/scratchbuilder/makro...fabrication.pdf Lots of good info on forming polycarbonate.
  11. Come on MacGuzzi, broad generalizations like this just piss people off. While I'd be the first to admit the US has more than its share of idiots, I doubt you'd find many who think some cheezy 9mm pistol would make a decent fashion statement let alone a good footrest.
  12. I was checking out Qatar on Google Earth looking for my nephews Airbase and noticed lots of similar circles but not that one. Gotta be somewhere in that neck of the woods.
  13. Sorry if this has been posted before. These would all work well in my world! Guzzi tools
  14. eh, who needs all that fancy stuff anyway? This is beginning to remind me of another thread.................BFG?
  15. Wow, that is some serious hail. Looks like I'm finally done for the season here in Maine. We've had snow and ice the past couple days and the roads are now covered with sand, gravel and salt. Gross.

Great! What time will you be in Maine?
  17. The ever-popular annual Lobster Crate Race in Rockland, Maine. Much harder than it looks!
  18. Uh-oh Jaap, don't look at the shot in "another point of view" then....
  19. The "backside" of Guzzirider's Christmas wish. Opps! Sorry about the non-another point of view content there in the lower righthand corner.
  20. Smitten? Naw........................ http://www.alisonangel.com/covers/35v1.jpg (sorry, she's a bit too young imo... Admin Jaap)
