  1. Out of utter frustration I asked a friend of mine to see if he knew what this is. Got it off the top of his head! Sorta spoiled my fun though I doubt I'd ever have found it myself. I am DISQUALIFIED

  3. 1958 Adrizio 125 2-stroke. (with bodged side cover).
  4. Don't think it's a Stornello. Similar configuration but details don't match up. Very similar to a Moto Beta 175 too but a few things don't match up. Good one macguzzi !

    Days Away!

You sly dog V11c................ I can hear the sleet bouncing off the window beside me. Winter will not let go here in Maine. Good on you for having a chance to ride the new baby this weekend. Just look her over close before you fire and ride! Hold on tight!
  6. Copied from the website...... Known history this extremely rare 250 Grand Prix (only two were built) was designed by Francesco Villa the brother of world champion Walter Villa. During the 60’s & 70’s Francesco Villa was a motorcycle manufacturer and the Villa 50 & 125 cc race bikes were ever present on the tracks. In 1968 he decided to build a 250 4 cylinder with rotary distribution. The FIM then banned from Grand Prix machines with more than two cylinders and this bike never raced and further development was halted. A true collectors bike and an unique opportunity to become the proud owner of on the rarest 250 GP 4 cylinder bike in history. Available now in Italy. Villa 250 Grand Prix
  7. OK. I suppose I owe you a peek at the whole machine too.
  8. Sorry guys, work has been a bitch and I've been out of it with a sucky cold to boot. No joy yet. Here is another view of the engine. No cobbled chainsaw rig.
  9. Too c-c-c-c-c-cold out to even think about motorcycles so I suppose it's time for another quiz....... The usual, Type, displacement and year.
  10. I just tried to view the site but couldn't from here in the USA. I will try again tonight.
  11. Wow, I am in lust and not a single woman to be seen!
  12. Two traffic patrol officers from North Berwick in the UK were involved in an unusual incident while checking for speeding motorists on the A-1 Great North Road. One of the officers used a hand-held radar device to check the speed of a vehicle approaching over the crest of a hill, and was surprised when the speed was recorded at over 300 mph. Their radar suddenly stopped working and the officers were not able to reset it. Just then a deafening roar over the treetops revealed that the radar had in fact locked on to a NATO Tornado fighter jet which was engaged in a low-flying exercise over the Border district, approaching from the North Sea . Back at police headquarters the chief constable fired off a stiff complaint to the RAF Liaison office. Back came the reply in true RAF style: "Thank you for your message, which allows us to complete the file on this incident. You may be interested to know that the tactical computer in the Tornado had detected the presence of, and subsequently locked onto, your hostile radar equipment and automatically sent a jamming signal back to it. Furthermore, an air-to-ground missile aboard the fully-armed aircraft had also automatically locked onto your equipment. Fortunately the pilot flying the Tornado recognized the situation for what it was, quickly responded to the missile systems alert status, and was able to override the automated defence system before the missile was launched and your hostile radar installation was destroyed."
  13. Every day is darker and colder this time of year. I hate to see it come and there isn't too much to be done for it. Once I am through Christmas though and the days are getting longer, I start feeling better.......... even if the coldest days are still ahead. 30 years ago living in Maine seemed a great thing to do. It still is, but only from May through October!
  14. Hey-hey Ben, you got it! I was looking for some info regarding Rupp minibikes and stumbled on the little MXer. It's a cool looking little bike. Rupp was also big into snomobiles and made some nice sleds. I remember seeing a few of the snow machines and minis here in Maine but never even knew about the MX bike. For a variety of reasons the RV market dimmed in the early to mid 70's and Rupp was taken over by Arctic Cat. I bet there are few Rupp Nitros still running out your way Ben.
  15. Hot damn.....................oh, not even close yet. Guess it isn't cold enough out for winter activities.
  16. No Kawi Ben. MacG is spot on with the Sachs engine but not the builder of the bike. Someone is going to sniff this one out.
  17. Cold, rain and wind today. How about the name of the company that offered this 125cc machine?
