He said they were aftermarket pipes that went straight to the mufflers,
Why doubt what you were told?
There are some aftermarket joiners from memory that were split in two halves which were inserted & clamped rock solid tight from reports.
I had mentally noted them in case - but because I don’t hear any rattles or leakage the inert movement I only produce by hand is not worth fixating

Who cares if there’s a bit of wobble? It’s whether they leak is what matters here
I have the front crossover on my bike & never observed so much as a gnat’s fart emanating from said bung

Had some sort of 50cc European moped until this awesome 2-stroke

On my Quota I only installed progressive springs in forks & Mitas knobblies & travelled from the tops of the Atlas mountains & thru the sands of the Sahara & crushed an amazing GS into surrender on the Saharan sands
There’s nowhere I wouldn’t go on a Quota
I’m not in love with it like my Scura R - but I sure as hell admirably RESPECT it!
This is the 1000 but the 1100es will do this equally well - (ahem) follow me Stelvio… 😊

I would buy a V100 Sport or a V100 Lemans tomorrow
Nought much wrong with this effort but I’m guessing it’ll be around 2025/26 with maybe 130-140hp after new factory is completed. As you can guess…
I’m waiting too

Suddenly, an adventure bike takes a new meaning when you are riding alone, without crossing a single soul for miles and miles. It feels like the mythical "I am free", compounded by the no cell coverage. That's right! it is part of the complete loneliness. Nobody can reach you.
I want to get even closer to the meaning of Lone Star State.
For what you’re describing p6x - the big dually Quota is better suited & tougher than the 19” front Carc rear Stelvio
💯% rawer it’s a longhorn bike that can do more hardcore than the softer adventour Stelvio

Another 19” front wheel with a couple of faux bark busters - the usual formulaic Adventure light effort
I’d rather be ogling a future LeMans

Bedding in new FAC cartridges & IKON shock upgrades out beyond Westdale Rd to Beverley, Western Australia
Monza riding isn’t about alacrity - it’s all about holding maximal momentum cornering with telepathic inputs - & just savouring its amazingly durable Lino Tonti engineering design & Paolo Martin’s impeccably sweet styling
The rider position is surprisingly comfortable too
Go figure - I love riding it

Will one keep the exhaust valve cooler by a significant degree?
You’re drunk, bored, taking the piss, having a laugh or… divorced sans pussy
One or more of the above
By the way - the exhaust valve is kept cooler by approximately 0.25 degrees Celsius with the oem upgrade
Worth it (sic)

Not sure if this has been posted before - but it’s a good one on the V100 engine
Thot I’d park it here for interest
