Someone once made commentary on Guzzi company ownership & their bikes history wherein he ascribed the title to the V11’s…
”The last of the hairy-chested Guzzi’s”
That description always stuck with me
Anyhow that being the case I wonder what moniker will in time percolate to the surface and be attributed to the new V100’s? 🤔

Wheels are forged OZ. Ghezzi-Brian had a batch made and I got a good deal on them. Much lighter than OEM and together with Öhlins goodies it improved handling very much!
Excellent feedback - my Scura R came Ohlins equipped
I credit forum advice here from Pete years ago to concentrate on suspension (before engine fiddling) to prompting a session with Perry (https://leaskracing.co.uk/perryleask/) when he was at HM Racing.
Best ROI imo having suspension improved by a top notch professional - lightening the rotational mass would be next level tier
But then I ask myself - am I just getting sucked in too deep by the air cooled porker?

Great looking wheels Jaap. Marvic magnesium?
Were they worth the ROI impact on the performance /sweetness of handling of bike? Been off/on mulling rims for years…
Haven’t heard much by way of pros & cons - to persuade myself to take such a committed plunge!
So it’s a little thought in the back of the head - that sorta just sits there like a rabbit in the headlights…
What impression did your experience leave you with - was it something worth doing over again?

Engine job, close to 10k € in reciept
77 ft/lbs & 106 hp is a phenomenal increase - 10% more in torque with an additional 15 Hp added
Even @ 10k €
If it’s not breaking your personal official secrets act - what’s the receipts indicate regarding parts?
If there’s relatively bugger all parts added in for that money - then it would have to more indicate indicate tremendous skill in getting those heads flowing exceptionally well by Thomas.
Either way I’m suitably impressed with those dyno figures
I can’t readily recall any street V11 as high

That’s overwhelmingly impressive - surely there can’t be anything left in that engine that’s original
‘Speed Costs Money How fast do you wanna go?’ is a truism
Would love to know what’s been done
I’ve heard it stated here that the V11 engine is not that far off from its street reliability performance ceiling limit
This dyno obliterates that ceiling!

As for lawyers, I understand how folks can think as you do -- and, occasionally, I even share that view.

It merely confirms my updated beliefs that they’re all still just a bunch of vagina owners

Just as I feed in the power to get up to speed, she just loses all power and dies! So Brrrr Brrrrr over to the side of the road and what the....I turn everything off and try to re-start but all I get is d,d d, d,d d, d,d,d and no go!
This also happens when the battery is near completely drained (especially Lithium) - seems it can expend the last bit of energy starting engine & runs for a bit but the ECU can go brain dead & not have enough synaptic connections to make any decisions! Dies
Like a shot of Floradix tonic - give battery a charge

Here’s a faded old tee as an example…
It’s my favourite because it presents the Guzzi big block in the side view perspective I’m most familiar with when ogling my own bike
Pretty sure I clocked this at the Stafford Classic Bike Show 🇬🇧
Love to simply find a similar V11 example… (maybe we should start a show off ya favourite tee’s!)- 1

Weel… well done but to me those empty exhaust ports denote empty ‘dead’ eye sockets 💀
Including exhaust pipes suggest exiting exhaust gases of an ‘alive’ Guzzi big block
…don’t mind my 2c

Two or three years back after I’d just installed a cyclops led bulb - I noticed a screw ‘thingy’ on the floor
As a precaution I took it all apart & tried to figure out where it might’ve dropped from
Worked out eventually it was from the side for setting the up/down tilt angle on the headlight… glad I didn’t succumb to the temptation to just kick it across the floor

Here’s an article regarding Adaptive Fuel Systems that those who’s bikes are factory equipped with the adaptive 15RC ECU may find useful in appreciating that added level of control
https://tuneecu.net/Tunes_in_Hex_and_dat/TuneECU/Adaptive_Fuel_Systems_EN.pdf
As an update report - my bike continues to run perfectly since it’s O2 sensor upgrade swap - irrespective of where it lies on its maintenance arc - it’s cough cure heaven!
All good 👍😎

Well under heavy braking I be nervous rear ending the vehicle in front of me…
and gouging out a couple of bloody ice cream scoops of inner thigh from those aero wings as I’m catapulted forward sliding along the tank!
I know they call ‘em aero’s but to me they look like gidji prongs
