  1. That's what he said it's just nuts but he should have added, –1
  2. PS I wish he had dome something worthwhile – like being in the Halifax ads instead of that extremely irritating Howard berk, or replacing Linda Barker. Iggy would look great leaping about on cheap DFS sofas, or fronting SAGA holidays. Yes please. Howard, on a woodpecker or something. Get on there, Iggy! – and push Howard off
  3. Yes, it's really odd. Watching the add doesn't give any answers. Anyway, how many of the people in the market for cheap online car insurance know who Iggy Pop is anyway – and how many would buy insurance of him!? He's just a skinny man with no shirt. Ouch, jihem will kill me. – Where can I buy some life insurance?
  4. "Right Ginger, time to go home and fill-in the insurance claim form" "Sure thing Iggy. Thank goodness for swiftcover.com"
  5. Well Jihem, this one is just for you I don't know if you're getting the tv commercial in Belgium, I guess not. Iggy promotes swiftcover.com's 'cheap' car insurance and the "time-saving, hassle-free service provided by the wholly online insurance company," with the message: "Get a life". There can't be any excuse: can there be an explanation?
  6. Ah ha ho hum
  7. Actually, I saw a photo that looked like King Kong riding a Stelvio. It reminded me of you... em, in a good way. Must see if I can find it again. Right, seems that all Stelvio riders look like King Kong: well, there are always exceptions that prove the rule
  8. KING KARC
  9. I don't remember this one being shown here before. It's from a few years ago amidst rumour of a new 1100, 1200 or 1300 sports bike developed from Griso / Norge. But in fact we got the Stelvio. Adventurers rejoice.

  11. Is 'pipeline' another word for drive shaft? No joking, in a NEWS RELEASE 30/8/07, CARC tells Pipeline Developers “Beef Up Assessment of Pipeline Impacts” That's straight from CARC.org
  12. For those who remember: 'Things go better with CARC' See here 'I'd like to buy the world a CARC' etc etc Remember: 'you never get tired of the taste of CARC!'
  13. Second choice would have been "Grisos are Best"
  14. I thought Jaap should have called this Forum / Section "All things CARC"
  15. UK bike trade seems to be doing ok(?) and according to the mags, selling bikes to Europe, including to other dealers, because of the £ cheaper price now compared to other Euro countries.
  16. Very good. This will be a forum / section with a lot of interest for owners, prospective owners and general interest. Well done!
  17. With all that single-sided thing going on, they should do the same thing with the motor – just use one cylinder, out on one side. On the right, to show commitment to the theme, or on the left to balance it and stop it falling over? Perhaps the rider should sit side-saddle?
  18. I like the sound of that. How should I go about committing this crime?
  19. Bikes, planes... sometimes there's no difference 'he flies through the air'
  20. Never mind the aeroplane thread, this really captures the spirit of motorcycling: see here on how to prepare for thrills
  21. Yes we do! Guzzirider used to tell us all about his Fat Boy, or Big Lad, or whatever it was called.
  22. yes we had a topic about planes. And yes, there was a topic about liking it raw too: mmmm And yes, we had topics about
  23. I want to go to the place and discuss the arrangements with the owner. I'll know after that. I had hoped to do it at the weekend there, but he was away. I'll let you know soon. Regarding the timetable nothing will be set in concrete and people can of course do what they want, however I will propose some options for the days, as it may help people to decide what time to arrive and depart (book ferries). From info so far, Saturday looks like the main day when everyone will be there and for some people it's the only full day that they have. I'd therefore suggest that the main riding route, which is the Antrim coast road (more info about that route on the webpages at moto.belfastguzzi.com and the site at www.belfastguzzi.com), would be on that day. – More on all that later. There is no shortage of good routes. Bertie, do you want me to send you some info on ideas for your week and links to biker-friendly accommodation? When do you actually arrive? Although you won't be here for race week, might you be here for the race day, on Saturday 16th?
