  2. I use a Givi tank bag with their Triumph ring on my 04 V11 Sport. I used three washers on each screw between the ring and gas cap as a spacer so the ring would clear the recess. Pay attention to the screws when you remove them - there are two short and three long. I Imagine that it's important to get the short ones back in the right position! I also glued the plastic ring that mates to the tank bag to the metal adapter just to provide the bag with a little more stability (since the ring no longer rests on the tank itself). I love that it go on and off in a second without straps or magnets.
  3. I've never needed to have this done, but I have read about a company GMD-Computrack that specializes in motorcycle frame alignment. They have a shop in Milford, CT http://computra.startlogic.com/default.htm Might be worth checking out.
  4. I ordered this: AF1 Handguard Kit for Tuono @ $129.99 It has everything in the Dorsoruro Kit, plus the added dogbones. Sorry for my delay in replying. If you email them I think you can get the dogbones seperately. There is also this Aprilia accessory kit: Aprilia Shiver Handguard Kit P/N 894088 $41.99 Ihaven't seen it though, and don't know what the pumps look like on that bike. I'm very happy with the Dorsoduro guards - they do a good job.
  5. Did a similar job using a kit from AF-1 Racing made to mount Aprilia Dorsoduro handguards on an Tuono. They are slimmer than the GS model and look really good. Check out the pics in my thread down the page a bit.
  6. Update on the handguards - I've ridden to work on a couple of cold (37 degrees F) and rainy mornings and the handguards, as small s they are, do an excellent job of wind deflection. I could have easily worn my summer gloves as my hands stayed both warm and relatively dry. I'm totally satisfied!
  7. Thanks for that. Has any one got any others? I havn't got software to open files with eps suffix. Has any one got these emblems in jpeg files? The zip files contain both jpg and eps. EPS stands for 'encapsulated post script' which are the most accurate print files. Even Photoshop elements can open them - what are you using? Are you going to print the tee shirts yourself?
  8. Well, it's grey, grey-green, or blue-green depending upon the light. Kinda cool actually (IMHO).
  9. You bet - I have it already, just can't decide whether to go with the double-sided tape and screws provided, or polyurethane glue.
  10. It's the flourescent lighting + shitty i-phone photo - this bike has magical paint that looks green, grey, or blue depending on the light. The handguards are just the standard black plastic - out of the package and on to the bike in 30 mins. Hardest thing was finding two 14mm wrenches for the mirrors.
  11. It's getting chilly and wet in Seattle, so I installed Aprilia Dorsoduro Handguards. AF1 has a kit for the Tuono that adds a dogbone to span the increased distance from the mirror perch to handguard. The Tuono pumps look to be the same as the Sport, and so here you go. Even though they are pretty small, they make a huge difference. Next project, a Fenda Extenda to keep some of the crap off the front of the motor.
  12. Hi, I'm Courtney from Seattle. I just bought this 2004 Ballabio a couple of weeks ago. It's box stock with 14,000 miles and has been well taken care of. It looks like it's brand new. It will be bunking with my first Moto Guzzi, a 2004 California EV Touring.
  13. Bone stock - purchased 10/20/12 Courtney in Seattle 2004 Moto Guzzi California EV Touring 2004 Moto Guzzi V11 Sport Ballabio
