  2. Excellent mate, I must admit I'm envious! hehe in a good way that is. Looking forward to see the process, keep us posted.
  3. Been trying to find some info on the company see if I can get my hands on one of those fairings but no luck.. You say you bought one and it never arrived?.. I'll do a little more investigation see if something turns up. Don't know if this will be useful or not..

  5. Hello Craig I also posted this pic not so long ago on the forum, it is indeed of a Laverda SFC. Was one of the mods I wanted to do to my V11 Lemans. Here is a link to one of the sellers I found made a replica: http://www.motoforzafairings.com/en/product/Laverda-SFC-750/OL750-1SM_Half-Fairing-Road----Laverda,-Moto-Guzzi-etc They also sell the glass to go with it. PD: Just realized you have also posted the same link, I see you guys move fast! Well good luck and let us know if you do the mod, would be interesting in hearing about your thoughts and experience.
  6. Cheers mate, I'm sure she is a beaut! hehe Feel free to post some pics on here!
  7. That looks pretty nice, you know pricing for it?? Link is down I'm afraid.. This is a twelve year old thread. InTeam isn't in business anymore. Sorry about that.. 12 years golly! To think I have just been in the forum a few months.. It's a shame, looks really nice, very like the LM1 but with a touch of retro. Well, I'm sure another cool fairing will pop up!
  8. That looks pretty nice, you know pricing for it?? Link is down I'm afraid..
  9. Well said, he has another one with a loop instaid, no rivets, but not as nice, a combination of both would be the best option i guess!

  11. I have been looking for a nice keyring with the classic or new logo on it, something small not to bulky, any luck with producing that?' I found one on ebay that is similar to what I would like for my bike but not precisely there yet.. Anyway here is the sellers link: http://www.ebay.es/itm/321597344381?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 What do you guys think??
  12. I think I'll do that and go and try on a Corsair V, for I wont be able to try on the Bell (don't have the Star in Spain), plus the fact that its so noisy really draws me back..
  13. That is correct on the bulb. I tried running "hotter" ones like Sylvania Silver Star, but while I like the brightness, they just do not last. By all means, please send by a paella and a nice Spanish lady. I hear they all have long legs. Thanks for the tip mate, I'm not sure that the paella would arrive in to good condition.. with the prawns and all I mean.. Speak to you soon guys, and ride safe!
  14. Hi mate, just wanted to congratulate you also on your beautiful Scura, I'm sure it's a pleasure to ride! Take care and speak to you round the forum.
  15. Cheers mate, I'm having second thoughts now.. I have been reading some pretty harsh reviews on revzilla regarding the sound the helmet makes.. What helmets do you guys use?? My second option is an Arai Corsair V Frost Black I think, reviews are excellent, and noise wise they speak much better of it.. My last helmet was an Arai X3 Tour and hated that it was so loud, it is a trial helmet so was normal I suppose, but went better with the SM.

  17. Thanks everyone. The truth is I scouted through this forum quite heavily before I got the bike and read in detail the Guzzidiag and ECU modifying posts. I am really glad you attached the post regarding the TPS which was driving me mad, because I kept seeing it written and just could not find what it meant (Throttle Position Sensor at last!). I also think as you Zooter, I prefer understanding the "what" than the "how" and after reading the elaborate post you added, am going through the original version now to understand better how things tick on the guzzi. I just read what bike you have Zooter and realized it "will be" a Tenni!! You are one lucky guy, and I do wish that it is delivered safe and sound. I am going to read through the post with my father and see if this weekend I can sort it out, weather has worsened here so wont be riding I don't think, bike sounds mad with those exhausts without the DBkiller by the way, I do recommend them, though they are a tadd overpriced at around 800€ if I'm not mistaken. I will also be changing the headlight bulb, for the last owner put a 35w one and it is just to dim. I have read that the original bulb is the H4 12V 55/60W, is that correct? Well lads, if you need anything from Spain just ask ok! hehe I may be buying a helmet from NZ Mr. Zooter, it's a Bell Star Matte Carbon, first of all because they don't sell them over here in Spain, and secondly because they are quite cheap on ebay there. How harsh do you think customs will be on me whilst receiving from NZ? Last helmet I bought in USA cost me dearly due to customs fees..
  18. Right, removed the DB Killers from the cans this afternoon and went for a short ride to work on the bike, apart from the sound that has increased "slightly", the power curve has modified a little and now has a bit more power at higher revs, of course this could just be me being psychologically tricking myself into thinking so. But I do think the curve has changed a little. Also the hiccup at 3.000 rpm is more noticeable than before, up until the bike warms up a bit, and then it gets better. Is there any way of tuning the bike for now before I buy the cable? I do have an OBDII for my E46 BMW so I presume I would only need the conversion cable into "Italian" connection. Oh and by the way, the last owner told me he had put the tick-over up so the battery charged whilst at traffic lights.. And as you can imagine I would like to bring it down a bit to its normal guzzi popopop sound.. hehe Any DYI here in the forum for that?? Also I have noticed there is a small PVC white wheel that connects the two injectors together, I guess that has to do with throttle timing?? Sorry for all the questions guys, have had 0 experience with Twins so am a bit lost.. Once again thanks for your help, would love some pics of your MODS by the way! Regards, Jake
  19. My pipes are already Moded docc. Have not seen anyone in the forum with them on, but are handmade in Italy by this brand: http://www.exan.it/exan/?p=199&lang=en They sound pretty good I must say, I'll probably remove the DB Killers this week see if they make any difference apart from the sound.. hehe In what way can I tune the bike for these cans (most probably hasn't been done) without changing ECU?? Here's a pic so you guys can see them a little better (this is from when I went to pick it up after being unloaded from boat!), I think I was quite lucky for they look rather nice don't you guys think.?
  20. Hello Guys! Just got of the bike now, fortunately the weather here in Mallorca at the moment is excellent at 20Cº, so is a treat to ride. I must say I am very impressed with the bike, I wasn't expecting so much umph from a twin but this has loads of it. As I say I come from a KTM 690 SM and KLX 650 SM, and after having tried a mates Dorsoduro and being rather disappointed (it is quite underpowered) I did not know what to expect. I had not told my father about the Guzzi and went round to see him yesterday.. He jumped up in the air when he saw it, gave me a hug and lifted me up in the air also!! And said: Welcome to the family boy. So I said to him: You want to try it dad? I hadn't finished saying the phrase and he was already halfway into his leather jacket and in search for his helmet! hehe. He really enjoyed it by the way, so coming from a Guzzi fan for "Centuries" (my dad is 64) I am quite happy with his verdict. The mods I was looking into for starters with the bike were changing the front fairing for one off a Laverda 750 SFC. I have added a photo of a guy that has done so from Brazil I think he is, I'm sure you have seen the pic before. And regarding the Lemans I conversion I think you guys are right, maybe I should wait until I find a Mk1, the thing is.. well just imagine a Mk1 with V11 engine (pic also attached)!! Speak to you soon, and thanks ever so much for such a warm welcoming. PD: Thinking of removing the DBkillers from the exhausts (I have read that changing the cans sometimes derives into a hiccup at around 3000rpm, and I can notice it I think. Opinions??
  21. Well guys, I have been keeping myself from posting anything on your great forum until my lady arrived, and finally she has!! I must say before anything, that I come from KTM monocylinder bikes (690 SM Prestige, Duke, etc.. and some KLX 650R down the line) so this is my first twin cylinder bike. And all because of my dad, you see I have grown up with a variety of Lemans 1, 1000, Ducati 750ss 900sp etc in the family, and just fell in love with his old Lemans I. And after searching for a long time for a decent priced one to restore with no luck, I started looking for alternatives, and one day I saw a guy that had transformed a V11 into a Lemans 1! Now how cool is that, technology from the future with a body (aesthetic at least) from the past.. And just couldn't help my self to give it a go. But I think I over did it and got something to nice to dismantle and turn into a "V11 Lemans I". Well, here is a picture of my bike, I hope you like it and please feel free to comment on my thoughts and ideas. Big hug from Mallorca to you all!
