Shoei Z1. Best helmet I have ever owned. Had AGV before that and they were ok. Swapped to the SHoei because when I needed a new helmet, none of the AGVs offered to me had a DOUBLE D RING BUCKLE (odd since all my old ones did) and this is the only helmet fastening I will ever contemplate using.

The "seat belt" type are firstly liable to give the old, loose skin on my neck a nasty Dracula bite and secondly the double D is ALWAYS correctly adjusted, most of the click types are a pain to adjust and are too big.

I love my Nolan Modular and plan to get one of the new ones with the little sun visor built in. but when I'm on the goose I wear the Guzzi Suomy, and am I seriously the only one who bought the thing? it really is a good helmet though the nolan is even better put together for less money, but I just had to have it. :helmet:

I think it's more like "the only one who found the thing" rather than only one who bought one...

They are OK. I had a KBC before my current Shoei, but 2 years commuting in it and the lining and strap were too worn. Quiet and comfy when new, doesn't have the quality and durability in the soft parts that the Shoei does. My wife still has her KBC which is fine, as it doesn't get that much use.

Good budget helmet IMHO

Well, it's been about 1500 miles of riding with the new Suomy, and I have to say it's the lightest, most comfortable, best fitting helmet I've ever owned.

It's maybe a touch louder than my HJC, but I wear earplugs anyway and the difference with them in isn't noticeable.

It's a Nolan N40 Jet with visor, that I've had for years, for most rides. Need to get another one <_< soon!! I've a Davida Jet in silver, with french-made goggles, for posing around in. Comfy, but I've got used to not haveing my face hammered, and, strangely, I like it :D I've also got a 35 quid Nitro, which is fine, if a bit draughty.

I just bought a black Caberg Justissimo GT to replace my broken Roof Boxer. Seems comfy and practical, and I like the integral sun visor.

I just got my Shoei Multitec today & I like it. I havent gone very far with it yet but everything works very well. When you close the flip lid down the steel pins make a very nice high quality click. Wind noise at 60mph is reasonable, on a scale of 1 to 10 I'd rate the noise level at a 7 or 8 if 10 is the most quiet. Comfort is very good as well. I'll post more as I play with it & ride with it more.

I like Davida lids...got two of them left, the third did its job protecting my bonce when a myopic moron on mobile phone drove into my first Cali...my head apparently smashed the rear windscreen of the car and then I landed on it...it was one of those bowl head ones too...

Vemar VRR. Very good quality, low level of noise, satisfied by the air vents, as far as the anti-fog screen, not very good, but you can adjust the pinlocks from the Shoeis.
