Skeeve
Decided to take the Centauro engine to http://www.motoschmitz.de They will blast the complete engine with glass perls. The bevelbox and tranny also. So coming week I have take these two off the G&B. Have them use walnut shells or baking soda. Getting microscopic pieces of glass grit inside your engine = not a good thing.
gstallons
There were pics on here where somenone had the piston domes and a couple of other things blased with dry ice. This looks ultimate.

I let them do their stuff. They have done dozens of engines and are Guzzi specialists, so I'm sure they know what they're doing.

Admin Jaap
Yes, not as grunty as the V11 engine, but over 5000 rpm it's bloody fast!
helicopterjim R.I.P.
Yes, not as grunty as the V11 engine, but over 5000 rpm it's bloody fast! Oh my - what Jaap says is sooooooo true. My Centauro is actually a litle dangerous on wet roads - it hits like a two-stroke at 5000 and revs to 9000. Oh my ......
juicersr
Jap, any regrets on installing the Centauro motor? Was it a total pain? I have a line on a motor and am considering. Thanks
Admin Jaap
Not at all, although the engine has a different kind of grunt than the V11. Sent from a clever thingy with a microprocessor and an interweb connection
