...It's a Mkll Escort....would that Ferrari hippopotamus go up the hill, round the bends any better than that venerable old rear wheel drive Escort?

Old & venerable maybe but people are spending serious money on Mk11 Escorts these days.

.....

I've just seen a Mk1 RS2000 Escort advertised by a dealer here – at £23,000! :o

The reason that I noticed that was because the same 'prestige' dealer has a V11 Le Mans advertised at £5,000!

A bit steep, when the going price for one in good condition a year or two ago was more like £3,500.

You'd buy a low mileage Griso for £5k

Could it be that the V11 is now entering the Classic stage and we're sitting on small gold mines? :sun:

The v11 will never be a valuable collectors item...Until after I sell mine! lol

Ugly new bikes, ugly new cars

and now Ferrari with their first four wheel driver, the Ferrari FF.

The original four wheel drive FF was more elegant, i.e. The Jensen FF, Ferguson Formula.

What's happened to designers?

they have indeed lost the plot!

Then again anything Ferrari have done since the 6cylinder dino Has also lost the proverbial plot!

Lamboghini,s have always been a better looking car in my opinion!

Cheers Guzzler.
