fotoguzzi Posted May 17, 2013 Share Posted May 17, 2013 I went to look over this 2000 Sport cause the price is around $3,000.us.. the tank has a leak from ethanol swelling (I guess). rubbed against the right side frame/steering yoke area.. just noticed my spare tank has the same swelling but not all the way thru.. the speedo needle looks like new compared to the tach.. bike needs a good clean up, has oily mist or the leaky gas on it.. sounded good, no extra clatter in the motor, Akropovic, stock x-over. some paint scratches.. steer clean or offersomething like $2500? FWIW, if anybody buys this, I have an extra tank that will fit this. It is dark metallic red (maroon?) and could stand to be painted. I'm not interested in selling it otherwise at this point.
