More importantly, if you were to wire your shoe phone directly to your V11 loom, should you go directly from the battery, or use the kind of fuse commonly employed to detonate charges?

I just read a review of the new V9, it has a link between the bike and your android phone, quite useful apparently, turns the phone into an extension of the dash.
