damn. sorry to hear that. when ya get a moment, elaborate some on the spring, if you don't mind. How long did that one last? Did you replace the arm with the new size boss? I've replaced both on my two bikes. Am I riding around with a false sense of security? I do carry a spare new spring, but that's only so it won't happen.

well 20000k out of the 1st 40000km out of this one, did a mates at 40k to so seems the limit

Can I have your old broken spring?

I'm going to try to make a different spring arrangement that will last longer. Maybe a pair of lighter springs, or an extra turn on a spring made of similar wire, or use better material.

sorted, just needed to think about it simple really, at the point of the post I didn have the replacement an hour later I did so its all back togeather, under slung exhaust fitted and tail tidyed... next the verlosity stacks...

ohh and Marty... yeah ya can have the bust one, and just looked at the old thread of mine from the 1st time it broke, interesting its in a different spot, and it wasent 2014 it was way befor then duno what the deal is with the date I guess about 2009, that one lasted 20k this one 40k the new one...???
