"PUSH" notifications

Speaking of notifications, any way to nuke the pushy "Push Notification" notification that always pops up?

Oh, I suppose that is correct. Every time I click on alerts I get this pushy notification that asks if I want push notifications. I have clicked "No" in my profile.

Click on the "bell" icon, upper right.

Select "* Notification Settings" at the upper right of the new window.

Have a look at your selections. At the very bottom "PUSH" notifications can be denied in your browser.

The bad news is that I just now selected "Deny PUSH notifications in this browser" (for no good reason) and now cannot change it back.

I turned all notifications off. Still getting this:

Must be a browser (settings) thing... Or do more of you have this problem?

I have not seen that notification in Edge, Firefox, Chrome or DuckDuckGo.

I use Dissenter, a Chrome variant in which pretty much everything is turned off by default. Upon first use, I got the push notification popup, told it no thanks, and it's been gone since.
