Like you say JM the switch is just an option for the Brembo : that is also what I intended to say when I wrote that the Discacciati unit comprises the switch whereas the Brembo does not.

BTW I ordered the Magura 20mm billet MC one which is due for delivery soon. ;-)

I wish I could come to the Trofeo Rosso but I wont return in France before late August :-(((

Finally some bolt on stuff!!! Congratulations :)

Hi I am new ..... I am building a 850 le mans and want to build it to a similar spec it had been when new.....But not a restoration to original....more of a production/F1 racer. It originally (when raced ) Had ISR brakes and I was looking for information to see if they still were availaible, ISR . I was surprised to see not only can you buy modern radial stuff but also the same calipers as fitted to the bike over 20 years ago !!

I must admit it was a surprise to find it after all these years. :)

I talked to Acke Rising, to owner of ISR

when looking for calipers for my rebuild. I ended up using used Brembos,

at least for now.

ISR is a small shop outside Stockholm and Acke is nice man.

The standard products are on the site but special thing could

be built to order also.

This is a customized Ducati Monster with ISR disks and 6 piston calipers:

Al,

if you look at his history, you see he sold them once before for 951$,"buy now".

So I suppose his reserve is near that.

He had forks and these bottoms/brakes for sale, I offerd him 2000$ for the set he wanted 2700. Because I get shipping and tax on it, I didn't want to go higher.

They are fitted outside, instead of the carillos :-) ,

he lives in Laguna Niguel, California, you can pick it up localy.

Yeah, but that's just too much $$ for my budget. Better brakes to be sure, but with new rotors, and probably a new MC/lever.... too much

Perhaps unrealistic, I was interested if the fork bottoms/calipers went for maybe under $500, but even then had to "think about it".

I'm sure someone will get them eventually :D

But for $950+, it won't be me
