The paint on those GB500s was called black green by Honda.  So I  call mine the Black Green Meenie...:ninja:

That's interesting...my neighbor in Houston had a Datsun Fairlady here in Houston, and it's more like an MG2 body style rather than a 240Z.  Looks like Nissan and Datsun both used the Fairlady naming convention.

I have a set of these on my Honda Goldwing...illuminated blinking arrows on the mirror itself.

Quite nice!

They make them for quite a few models of cars and motorcycles as well, and could probably make them custom for non standard vehicles.

Is this the same Muth who designed the illuminated Muth mirrors?

No, I'm pretty sure that is a different Muth.

The designer Muth is most likely no longer working. He was born in 1935.

Either way, there is no mention of the mirrors here...:huh2:

They could be distant cousins!  Both working in the automobile industry!

K.W. Muth Company, which later formed Muth Mirror Systems, was founded by Kenneth W. (Ken) Muth. He established the company in 1947 in his grandmother's garage. Initially, the company focused on paper-making technology but later transitioned into a wood-based manufacturer and a key supplier in the automotive industry. Muth Mirror Systems, specifically, was formed in 1992 as a division of K.W. Muth Company, focusing on LED-based signal and blind spot detection products.
