Nice to meet you in person Mick. I know how hard it is to find any time in a holiday schedule that involves a 24 hour plane ride to get to. Enjoy the rest of your visit.

Indeed I did, and very happy about that I am. 

I'm back home in Germany now. We arrived this afternoon. About 30 hours travel time, and about 5 hours sleep on the way, so I'm not feeling all that chirpy right now.

It was great to be able to put faces to a couple of names. I got to see all of my immediate family, which was good, and a couple of good long-term friends. It didn't feel like a holiday, but I'm glad I made the trip. Maybe I'll be able to get a bit more time for the next visit, so I don't feel so much like I'm ticking the boxes on a tight schedule. I hope so. We'll see...
