Someone mention motard?? Get yerself a Quota and slap yer V11 wheels on it.

My next bike... easy. They stuffed another 10HP into the Speed Triple this year. Very nearly took it home in January.

Grabs me like a loose whore...

Not to encourage you to sell your V11, but I'm interested what you're next bike will if/when you sell your V11?

The 02 LeMans I just bought (stole) was suppose to be my last bike.(54yo)

But while shopping for it for 5 yrs.I bought a Little 900ss Duc..

If i ever get rid of the LeMans (due to all the glitches) my next bike will be

an ST4S Ducati. I've never seen such a well put togeather simple wonderful

little bike as my Duc. It's a tinker toy and goes like hell. I've done 450 mile days

on it and couldn't wait to have to sprint down to the nearest town for dinner

before retiring with my Beemer buddies @ the campfire.

Hopefully the LeMans will be all that I dreamed...a big fat TUFF Duc.

with non Rubicks cube valves.

So far (1100mi) It's been just that. Ask me in a year.

I voted other, which by no mean will I ever give up the Rosso Corso but if I could afford another ride it would come down to the Agusta brutale or good old american Indian. Possibly the Norton Commando " the new one of corso"  :)  Then again the retro Ducati Paul smart 1000 is a killer as well. Oh well... keep dreamin.

Sat on a Brutale today that thing appears to be really comfy BUT I've heard its lacking in the punch department. Tis too bad really they should make the Brutale with the 1000 engine, hmm maybe they do? Forget it I'll take the Benelli TNT. ugly headlight everything else is soo money.

Hi all, interesting that someone else likes/wants the Futura...

Because....that was my choice of a second bike! Grat value for money, looks soo different, goes extremly well, wheelies too!and carries stuff in its panniers and a Baglux tank bag beatifully. Its nicely built too, well thought out.Loads of little detail touches I like. Missus says pillion ride good too and that seat is sooo comfy..

However.....the engine is more sports than tourer and will not run down to below 2000rpm in any gear bfore it get rough,,the guzz just laps that sort up..

Guess the proof of it is that although I have the Futura I will always use the Guzzi Rosso Mandello when on me own, regardless of how i struggle wiv me luggage..

The Guzz just oooozes soul........the Futura is a Italian Honda..need I say more.

My V11 will stay, when I will be able to afford it I would love a vintage Guzzi,

an Eldorado or Ambassador, or V700. Cycle Garden is my favourite website. Any forum on vintage Guzzi?

Might have to be a Breva 1100 if the V11 wears out. I just wouldn't want a chain driven bike again, and I don't want a BMW.

He finally found a Hardly Affordable that fit in his budget.

And who cares about the ass of the Speed Triple? I can't see the ass from the seat... and if I cared about what a bike looks like from behind, I never would have bought the Guzzi - that rear fender is fugly! However, the Guzzi does look awfully good looking down from above/rear - only an Italian could design that!

cheers,

Ryan

Hmmm... well, I wish their was an option "can't decide between two Guzzi's". Cuz seriously I can't.

I would like to get something sporty, hence the Le Mans, but the Breva has more and what I would like to have in my bike considering the next year or two in terms of mileage and distance.

Decisions, decisions.....

Lets see, here is an unoffical poll, say you are going to be riding 7 days a week, as early as 8am until as late as midnight on somedays, would you rather choose the V11 Le Mans or the Breva 1100? No sarcasm was intended with this post.

The Brutale actually has, as of the 750, 127 bhp. Not to much torque, like 57 or so, but from what I understand it is a very fast naked bike.

As for the Brutale with the 1000 engine, the F4s Mille's engine simply wouldn't fit, so they instead opted for a 910cc engine. Power is up to around 134 to 140 and torque up to around 77 lb-ft. But bear with me, I've never ridden the bike, I'm only reporting what I have read from Motorcyclist Magazine.

I have lots of different choices to make...

2005 MZ 1000S (simply because no one in KC has one yet. I know that for a FACT since I work at a place that sells em)

1997 V11 Sport

2003 V11 Le Mans

1998 Ducati ST2

I need something for long distance and high-speed touring. Just something that won't try to eat my wallet straight through.
