May Bike of the Month

I don't know why, but his passing has really resonated with me. I'm hurt, and I never so much as emailed the guy.

Young, passionate people should not die when they are so. But they do -- and that, I suppose, is that.

Hopefully, he's gone to a better life.

On one hand I think it would be a nice gesture. He certainly had done more to his Guzzi than most:

X-Gen cans

high level rear pipes

Stucchi x-over

K&N pods (no airbox - now I can actually adjust my rear suspension !!)

PC III usb

RT billet levers and master cyclinders

Rizoma billet reservoirs

Billet footbrake lever

Gorgeous irridescent green paint job (under 5 layers of dark laquer)

techno footpegs front & rear

sawn-off rear mud guard

Bodged mini-cam + digi-recorder wiring into the loom

Those high level exhaust I think are unique on this forum.

On the other hand there may be friends or family who may blame his motorcyle or his love of motorcycling, but there again they might again take some comfort that it was doing something that he loved.

Overall I'd second the recommendation.

A fitting tribute, in my opinion.

A good friend died in an accident on his Cafe Sport well over a year ago.

A neurosurgeon. A 16 year old girl turned in front of him.

A real kick in the gut.

Not-so-young, but plenty passionate,

I like to think Dr. Tony is still riding.

And still stopping at all the best cafes throughout the South for a

cup o' joe, and a piece of pie.

Godspeed, Christian.

Never knew you, wish I had.

Say hi to Tony for me( he's the fast guy with the big grin and the smelly pipe)

Yesterday evening I thought of exactly the same. But I'll first contact his friend to ask for his opinion.

asking is a nice courtesy, but if you can't get ahold of him I think it should still happen, would be a nice tribute.
