Ya know, when I was a kid, a year lasted for like 5 years(maybe it was all that homework). when I was in my 20's & 30's...a year lasted about a year. There is a watershed, usually at about 50 years of age, before which you wake up in the morning with no thought but the next drink/woman/ten hours' work/motorcycle [depending on your circumstances]. After about 50 years of age you quite often wake up wondering how you made it through the night. Barring accidents, you're all going there.
