Face like a week-dead cod, body of an emaciated stick insect and the intellect to match either. Watching amoebas divide is more erotic.

helicopterjim R.I.P.
Our Spaminators have been busy and are doing a good job: First attachment are Dlaing's kills and the 2nd are Alex's We'll have to get them belts with notches in them for all their kills!
dlaing
We have a third spaminator: Jihem from Belgium has joined this elite squad! Thank you for volunteering. Alright! Maybe I can get some sleep now I get alerted for every new entry in Classifieds by email, and when we click on View New Posts we can quickly see any spam in Classifieds, unless we missed it the durring an earlier "view new posts" viewing. FWIW Just because the forum says I am online does not mean I am. My Computer is just running 24/7 with my favorite webpage up Wish it would act like a scarecrow for them spambots. It is an endless chore and it seems like there has to be a better solution...
Admin Jaap
What I can do is manually validate every single registration. But that's just too much work. Maybe a forum update will work.

dlaing
I think our moderators do a great job. However I se that the Centouro Owners group (COG) uses a different method to stop the infection before it even enters the bloodstream. They require a password to sign up or view profiles and the password is simple - it is Centauro - but no spambot would know that. Here is a link to their log in page to see how it works. COG This will allow our illustrious spam moderators more time to post wisecracks or ride their bikes!! I wonder if that solution works similar to this one: http://www.gpf-design.com/forum/index.php?...&hl=spambot "any new members registering will HAVE to enter a version number in the correct format before they can register. 217 would fail as would 2.1.x.." The other idea I had was to simply change the name of the "Wanted" section, as a temporary fix... And the latest version appears to be more secure. http://forums.invisionpower.com/lofiversio...t229768-50.html But things like email verification detere membership
