  1. So would "reduced exhaust flow rate" be more acceptable?
  2. As I am a person happily in a constant state of learning, kindly shed some light on your exception to the term back pressure. Much appreciated.
  3. I'm hoping someone on the Forum has actually installed one of these and can give a first hand report. Meanwhile, I'll give Gordon a call at MG Cycle and see if he can provide some additional info.
  4. Was curious if anyone has any experience with this plug and play bit from MG Cycle. Claims to reduce popping on deceleration and improve throttle response with Mistral slip-ons installed. I'm wondering if it is an oxygen manipulator like I have on my Ducati S4R (essentially enrichens the mixture by telling the ECU the ambient air temp is colder than it actually is). Only problem is it only works in open loop, so doesn't help at idle or less than 8% throttle position/low rpm. Interesting note (but no surprise), my 03 Le Mans runs great with the Mistrals when I have the db killers installed, but I get popping and coughing at low rpm with them removed. Seems they provide just enough back pressure to make the injection and combustion happy. But if the VTwin Boost gizmo would allow me to remove the db killers and run a K&N filter with the Mistrals for a bit more air and hopefully hp, that would be worth it.
  5. Ok great, please PM me with your info, and I'll send you my PayPal info, etc. Thanks
  6. Brand new, never mounted Hepco Becker rear rack system with hardware and instructions. Surprisingly lightweight. You can still buy these new at Moto Machines for $275. Came with my Le Mans, and I won't be using it. Yours for $175 (plus $20 shipping within the continental US). Or free pick up, I'm located in the Philadelphia area.
  7. ...and date I ask what years they were made?
  8. Ugh, I'm going to have to be that guy and take the bullet. What does CARC stand for? I've wondered for too long and couldn't find the answer...
  9. Thanks GuzziGary. 'still wish it worked out with your Nero Corsa, but the Bureaucrats won that day [emoji3525].
  10. After almost 2 years of searching for a good low-mileage one, my Le Mans arrived yesterday! Bone stock, and only 12k miles. Thanks to Qtip for responding to my WTB ad. Already have the carbon fiber Mistrals ready to install today!
  11. ...for '03 V11 Le Mans with Marzocchi forks.
  12. ...had them on my Scura, would love a pair for my "new" LeMans.
  13. I will take the cylinder guards, assuming they're new or "like new". Will send PM. Thanks.
  14. Was looking at these in my 2003 V11 Dealer Brochure. Has anyone ever seen these or have them on their bike? Interesting accessory.
  15. I'm supposed to be taking delivery on my "new" V11 LeMans in two weeks. I'd like to have it in hand before ordering, so will let you know then - thanks!
  16. I might be interested in one of you'd like to reduce your stock to an even two dozen.
  17. This should fit all V11 models (please correct me if I'm wrong). Right side only, in almost new condition with hardware as shown. Please note this is an 18" can, Mistral made these in different lengths over the years. $135 plus $15 shipping within the continental US. Will ship abroad for a bit more.
  18. I never understood why the Coppas had handlebars instead of clip-ons like the Scura (especially since it was supposed to celebrate racing heritage).
  19. One quick correction - not all V11 varients automatically got the the Ohlins upgrade after a certain date, it was only certain special models such as the Scura, Rosso and Nero Corsas (and it was both front and rear suspensions). The standard V11 Le Mans for example, continued with the Marzocchis through final production.
  20. In light of my imminent return to the V11 Le Mans family, I've made a donation to the keeper of this most excellent forum, and encourage those of you who haven't in a while to do the same. Best wishes and good health to all of you.
  21. Hi Bob - yes we have. Looks like I've found a very nice low-mileage black Le Mans in Wisconsin, and I have a verbal agreement with the seller. So I'm all set from my end. Thanks.
  22. And if Chuck gets cold feet, I'll be the back-up!
  23. As Kevin Schwantz once said, "I used the rear brake once - I remember it well because I crashed".
  24. Says "great rear brake" - must be a Harley rider...
