  1. Ok so here's the big surprise with Wanton Bishops. To me they sound as authentic American swamp blues as it gets. But turns out they're born and raised in Lebanon! Who would have guessed that?! Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
  2. This group is my best discovery in recent years - The Wanton Bishops. Please give a listen: Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
  3. Wow, Samantha Fish is awesome! Thanks for sharing. Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
  4. Did a compression test today (warm engine, wot) on my '03 Le Mans 15.5k miles. Looks like I'm a lucky guy: 158 and 160 psi. [emoji16] Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
  5. Well stated foogoose! Best comment of my week. Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
  6. Dang must have been amazing! He left us way too soon. Didn't get to see him.
  7. Have to say, Stevie Ray Vaughan's version of Voodoo Chile is one of the few examples better than Hendrix' original.
  8. I can also attest for Seal Mate. Fixed fork leaks on my VFR and Monster S4R in the past 3 years. Seems to be true that most fork leaks are caused by small debris that gets up in your seal. Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
  9. Great stuff. Now I have to throw down some Stevie Ray Vaughan! Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
  10. Great taste in music! Follow it up with Coltrane's Blue Train... Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
  11. Apologies if this was already posted elsewhere. Nice 20 minute documentary on YouTube. It's in Italian, but you can turn on english closed captioning in the upper right corner on YouTube. Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
  12. Mine arrived today as well - great stuff! Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
  13. I ordered a few of these today - nicest design I've seen so far. They have 80 other items with this design, from sweatshirts to duvet covers (surprise the wife!): https://www.redbubble.com/i/sticker/Moto-Guzzi-100-Years-by-GuzzistaVikings/69960271.JCQM3?ref=product-title&utm_campaign=2019_orderconfirmation_transactional_en&utm_medium=email&utm_source=RB&utm_term=44567697
  14. So do you notice any differences with the new downpipes? Sound, responsiveness, etc?
  15. Installed - I think it goes well with the Ghezzi Brian cf belly pan. Also, I'm offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the apprehension of the %[emoji2400]@!! Individual who applied red Loctite to one of the 4 screws. 2 hours to finally remove with an impact driver that was askew by a good 15° due to the wheel in the way. Had to use the impact driver for more than half the length of the screw!
  16. Just received mine from MDI, only took around 3 weeks. Quality is very good, plate indent is centered, and fastener tabs are very beefy - will not have any breakage issues (unless they are off-center and require the holes to be enlarged). Will post install photos, but initial report is great quality, especially for $80.
  17. As Chuck said above, more wear on the left is common (when riding on the right side of the road) due to the slope of the crown of the road. I would expect the opposite to be true in the UK.
  18. I'm planning to put the 3m clear film on it, and replace as necessary.
  19. ...no aluminum inserts, but the tabs are quite thick, so thinking should be ok.
  20. I contacted MDI Carbon and ordered one of these today ($71, currently 15% off) https://mdicarbonfiber.com/products/ducati-moto_guzzi_1100_sport-alternator-cover This piece was originally posted by Docc (merci!), but I couldn't find that post to tag onto. Appear to be good quality. I was told they are 6 -7 weeks from shipping as they are special order and the factory is currently closed for 2 weeks holiday. So if you were ever thinking about getting one, now may be the time as they're dusting off the old mold.
  21. I'm sorry for your traumatic experience, could take years of therapy to put that behind you - especially if you find yourself shopping for dew rags online.
  22. So you literally just spun it clockwise and it came out? Did you push or pull while turning? You didn't have to take anything else apart? Why did you have to remove it?
  23. My OEM reset knob on my '03 LeMans is in place, but has become essentially useless for resetting the trip odo. I also just received my replacement from MG, but the OEM pin does not seem to want to come out. I tried turning it clockwise (as it's reported to be reverse threaded), and just spins without backing off. I then tried counter-clockwise with the same result. It appears that whatever it is screwed into is also just turning, but without engaging the numbers dial. I guess it's time to take it apart unless someone has a simpler solution.
  24. I just hope one of our EU members buys this so we can hear all about it!
