  2. As an aside and on this subject one of the best pieces of riding gear esp on a sports bike with a seat that's not built for comfort is pushbike riding nicks worn under your jeans or pants. You know those Lycra shorts of various lengths with the chamois gusset that provides padding and sweat absorption for serious cyclists. Anything that can make the difference between a day on a pushbike in agony and the same day as a total non issue comfort wise has to be good. So instead of wasting a small fortune on custom seats and lambswool covers or airbag attachments and other hideous looking stuff spend $50 on some riding nicks and ride in comfort. Ciao

  3. Never liked the rotors on my '97 Sporti- pulse, inconsistent, etc. I know this was a problem, and I've done all the power wash/hammer hitting to loosen them up but they're just not very good. What's the EBC/Braking option for replacement? I've found fitment on the EBC website, but from vendors it's never clear about "X-type" "Left-Right-Both" WTF ever. Who's got a clear answer and quick source? Southern Spine Raid is coming up and I can't leave Docc in front of me all the time. 'Specially if he's riding a Duck.

  4. Brakes is good. ‘Speshully in the mountains... Not my Duc, though. I’ll be on my clapped-out Sport ( long as the Crick don’t rise!)

  5. Seems we learned the H-D PF4C no longer has the adjustable slots we need? Yet, a good parts guy at the Harley dealer should be able to come up with the earlier, adjustable unit used on the Buells if they still stock those parts. Not sure if those slotted TPS were used on other Harleys back those days ? (FWIW, the CaCycleWorks PF4C has been running 2000 miles now.)

  6. Centauro is different. I have no idea if this fits others, it's listed only as Centauro. https://www.harpermoto.com/harpers-6061-billet-aluminum-shift-lever-for-centauro.html

  8. That's a nice looking piece! So, earliest SpineFrames (Daytona, SPOrT 1100, Centauro, 1100 Sport-i) and 1st Gen V11 (1999-2001) are all the same? I ask because later (LongFrame 2002-2005?) have a different lower rear sub-frame and different shift lever . . .
