    Many of the small towns in our region were built along the railroads. Quite a few have an old caboose on display honoring that heritage. I put together a day ride that took in five cabooses (plus the BBQ Caboose Café ), 215 miles, 8 counties. . . . and 2 happy Guzzisti on their romping Sports . . .

    Well worth the visit. Guzzis predominated. Some well used 70s and 80s Guzzis and a very nice Magni. More new than old Ducatis present and a couple of Morinis, but no Laverdas that I noticed. Only one V11 other than my Tenni. Lots of very nice Ferraris, Maseratis, Alfas and a few Lancias too. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk

    Douglas Noel Adams was a Brit who wrote "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" among other stories. A great storyteller who improved my life. If you find that you are taking yourself too seriously, his books are the antidote.

    Would you pay $6,000 USD for a red frame with only 4,200 miles? Still has original tires. Probably needs a new battery and the tank drained of some old fuel. the other bike is a V7 replica built from a 850t, now with T3 swing arm and brake. $8500.

    We share the sentiment about Adams, I just mistakenly deduced that he may have been from NZ from the earlier post. Both of my adult kids still befuddle their mother when they communicate with me in 1-liner quotes from an Adams book.

    Many in NZ say "kays". Although as a country with a lot of sheep, we could start using Sheppies. Douglas Adams said a Sheppy is the closest distance at which sheep remain picturesque (about 1.4 kays).

    Fly&ride! That's exciting stuff. No way would I do that on a V11 without installing a full set of High Current Relays and testing the battery. Simple stuff, really. Unless you're in a parking lot or roadside somewhere . . .
