  1. Hi Peter. I want to support you an put a $ in your pocket. I want one for my Bellagio. PM me cost including shipping to Singapore.
  2. Guzzi virus is good for you. Singapore is crazy expensive on vehicles. Isn't there a way to keep a bike or two in Malaysia? Can't really keep a bike in Malaysia, and if you could, it'd probably be stolen or run off the road and then you'd get robbed at gunpoint while locals look on. But it's not all bad news. Just bought this with the Insurance payout from the @#$$#! that killed my BMW. Gasp! Cost $9000 SGD. (He was asking $11000.) 2008 model with only 25000kms on the clock. A good price considering the locale. (A new Honda CB400 costs $22,000 !) Wish I was Stateside! It's a Bellagio, for you unlucky yanks who never got the chance to try one. (Someone in Mandello Del Lario needs to do market research! Not available in the US !!!! ???? It would have sold like hotcakes I reckon.) The Bellagio a Schizo bike. A real Jeckyl and Hyde,...... Looks like a cruiser, rides like a maniac sportster, Short stroke 940cc engine that loves to rev, handles brilliantly. It's currently going through a cafe transformation. I'm aiming at this. Got a V7 seat and tank already,...... waiting on clipons and a few other bits..... ...................though I'm considering keeping the (cut down) Bellagio seat, just gotta do some fiddling with tank and seat placement. (Sitting too high in the pics. due to tank sitting on the soon to be removed airbox.) Would be nice if I could either seat as the mood suits. A bit of screwing around to make two interchangeable seats possible, but I love a challenge. what do YOU think?
  3. one word. WOW! Aweome! Sorry that;s two words. Fucking awesome. Three. Love it. Five.
  4. Thanks guys. i like it too. Wait til the Jackal's "Finished." Still more chrome and a new paint job in the future........ Anyway. I recommend the Jackal as a great blank canvas. No linked brakes, but room to put a second disc up front. (Did you notice twin wave blade front discs?) I considered,... made an offer on a Cali Vintage, but realised I just wanted to strip it down to look like the Jackal, ..... so I bought the jackal instead. Floorboards might look cool, and be comfy, but try getting your toe under the gear shifter........ If you like the look of my Jackal, consider the wastefulness of getting a different model and removing all the excess, unnecessary stuff. Some have unsightly chrome covers and bits that just seem to be there for the sake of having more chrome. anyway. Good luck with your hunt for the perfect cruiser.
  5. Hi Docc. It sort of reminds me of this or this only with the cafe style hump back - bum stop look. You don't like the Le Mans connection?
  6. Check out what the french are up to http://www.motobel.fr/content/41-moto-bel-présente-la-mb9?id_cms=41
  7. Mate, If you want a no bullshit bike get yourself a Jackal. Freaking awesome. Fast, yet cruisy. Elegant yet ballsy. I've had over 100 bikes, mostly Japs and one BMW and this bike blows them all away. Love it.
  8. Beautiful hard leather Hepco & Becker saddlebags and mounting brackets. Quick release, lockable bags, in Excellent condition. Cost the previous owner $2000 Singapore dollars. Any reasonable offer considered. Can do Paypal or credit card payment (via paypal.) Also selling the black pack rack pictured. Items in Singapore. Tell me what you want, make an offer and give me your location by PM and I'll get you a shipping quote. Chrome mounting brackets. The bags are no longer wanted, cos they just won't go with the new look.......
  9. Up for sale a set of nice Hepco and Becker driving lights/fog lights with perfect chrome, as new. Taken off a Bellagio. Told it will fit a Griso, pretty sure will fit California models Jackal, Stone EV, Aluminium, and probably any Guzzi with 45 mm forks. Bolts on to the triple clamp under the headlight. Were never wired up. Needs a switch. Cannot promise the bulbs work. Items in Singapore. Will post anywhere, make me a reasonable offer, PM me and state your location, I'll get a postal quote. See pics.
  10. On my way here......... I got this Tried a few different seat options with a V7 tank. Not sure which one I like better, the V7 seat, or the cut down Bellagio seat. Opinions guys? (Keep in mind neither tank or seats are fitted correctly, (Airbox and tail section need to go...) so they are sitting a bit higher than they would.)
  11. Hi Scud. "Guzzi Fever." ......... Yep. I got it. Haven't we all here? Totally agree with the Harper's Guzzi t-shirt, "Moto Guzzis are like potato chips,...... you can't just have one." Lets see some more pics guys.
  12. This is just gorgeous. I'm buying the only Bellagio in Singapore tomorrow, and it's going to get either a V7 chrome tank or a polished aluminium 850 Le Mans tank, a V7 seat and maybe a bikini fairing like the Bellagio Cafe racer below. (Also a beautiful Bella.) This is, in my opinion what a modern Cafe racer should look like. A marriage of modern tech, with the classic styling of yesteryear. The lack of twin shocks, sits well with the Cafe design philosophy of de - cluttering the machine. Will post progress on the transformation. This is what it looks like now. That's my Jackal Bobber behind it. \ THe Jackal was originally bought to be converted into a cafe racer, but I fell in love with it the way it is, Old school, beautiful. Hence the decision to buy a Bellagio and give it the caffiene treatment. Then again, I Might think twice on the V7 seat...... found this on the web, a Bellagio cafe, work in progress with original seat and a V7 tank. The Bellagio seat might look the business with an aluminium 850 Le Mans tank......... can't wait to find out. (Cut-outs on the V7 tank won't work with the Bella's seat.) If there's anyone else out there done a Bellagio Cafe racer, I'd love to pick your brains.
  13. On my 7th beer already. Wife calling from bed,...... "Peter, It's half past 3 (am)."
  14. Post pics of the dream bikes you would like to have, or what you have created, custom, streetfighters, cafe racers, whatever. Here are a few of mine. Don't want much do I ?
  15. looking for another Guzzi, Now I have Guzzi Virus. Shame they are so rare (and expensive) in Singapore. (A V7 costs around $29000.00 Singapore dollars!) I might be looking for a while. Almost bought a Breva 750 to do this or this the guy wanted $3500, (Add $6500 government bullshit 10 year Registration tax) but after a test ride found the gearbox and final drive #@$&@#@. Not worth it. Would have cost $10,000 and still stuffed gearbox, faded paint and rusty frame..... Never mind the cost of a new V7 tank and seat. Hate this place.
  16. Current bikes. and a few of the 100 bikes owned in the past......... all the others are non digital photos, gotta scan ................ CX500 Kawasaki GT750 XJ650 Z750 Z650 Z250 CB900 CB400 Cb250 Cr125 XR75 Zephyr 750 ST1100 XS250 Z1100b and many more I cant remember right now......
  17. I like what you've achieved. Looks great. Tell me though, how has it affected the handling? After seeing this post I had a look at a Norge, (despite not wanting a full fairing bike...... not a lot of choices for used Guzzis here in Singapore.) I'm thinking of doing something similar, cut down or replace the fairing with a sportier one, like SS900 Ducati ) Something like this,.... lower, sleeker in my opinion. http://www.motocykl-online.cz/img/galery/motocykly-z-casopisu-motocykl-12-2010-moto-guzzi-v11-sport-cafe_1.jpg Anyway, I rode the full fairing Norge around the parking lot and found the steering really heavy at low speeds compared to my Jackal. (Could have been low tyre pressure.... ) How does your bike feel now compared to when it had the full fairing?
  18. cool, but switch out the allen bolts for stainless.
  19. red & green, should never be seen.......................... Sorry. Dunno about the colour scheme.
  20. Love it. nice pipes! This is how a motorcycle should look. Everything is perfect. ................... and you SOLD IT! Damn. Why?
  21. Calijackalbob

    V11 Misano

Looks cool! Personally I like this one more. (Sorry) Looks more old school......... http://www.motocykl-online.cz/img/galery/motocykly-z-casopisu-motocykl-12-2010-moto-guzzi-v11-sport-cafe_1.jpg
  22. .............. and on the look out for a second Guzzi. Like the Harpers Tshirt says, "Moto Guzzi's are like potato chips. You can't just have one!" Any of these will do............ Bellagio Cafe racer bellagio Ipothesys cafe racer made from a Griso .... yeah ok. It's not a Tonti, but, gorgeous anyway. Right?
  23. Here's my Jackal. It looked dowdy when I got it, so I removed the hepco bags and brackets, took off the flyscreen and pillion seat, Chromed the fender, stipped the forks and polished them as well as the handlebar clamp, instrument bracket and top triple clamp. Since this pic was taken it's got a new chrome headlight nad headlight peak, chrome main stand, NEW aluminium switch blocks from a Cali vintage. Take note of the twin waveblade discs. Only $150 delivered from ebay! (caliper and braided lines cost a fair bit more.) Only had one warped disc when I got it. Stops AWESOME now! I typically do one finger braking. Love it. Peter
