    Ti exhaust

Marty, thanks for the links on the Ti exhaust I think I will install the Ti ECU, see how it runs. When you say adjust fuel trim you don't mean adjust the CO. dangerous, the PO had installed the Staintunes.

    Ti exhaust

Can hardly wait to finish installing them and hear those Ti pipes! Been kind of busy with some other projects so haven't had a chance to finish it, just got the exhaust hangers on so far. Since the Ti ECU map is available on Guzzidiag, would downloading the Ti map to my stock ECU be the way to go instead of physically swapping my stock one for the Ti ECU? Just curious. I would definately save the stock map before any changes.
  3. OEM Part Name: Spark Plug Wire Moto Guzzi Part Number: Spark Plug Wire-GU01718330, Spark Plug Cap-GU01717430 Replacement Part Brand or Source: NGK Part Number: CR6 Virtually the same wire and plug, the NGK has outer sleeve covering plug wire to protect from the elements/heat. The sleeve is the same red color as plug wire and could be removed. Other Comments: I removed the end connector from the original wire (end that plugs into the coil) and installed it on the new NGK wire since the NGK package does not provide one. It does come with the Spark Plug Cap already installed. They only come one to a pack, so naturally you would require two if you were to replace both stock wires.

    Ti exhaust

These arrived a couple days ago, thanks to board member (doug m) for the great deal and smooth transaction. What can I say, they are a work of art!! Haven't completed the install yet, but will post pics when finished. As it seems most people prefer to mount them high so that is the way I'm going. The bike right now has Staintune pipes (without db killers) and the FBF air filter kit. It runs great now so that is why I'm asking whether I should leave the stock ECU in or just put the ECU that came with the Ti exhaust. Any thing else I should know/do regarding installing this system.
  5. Would that be Redline Heavy Shockproof that hasn't been changed for quite a while??

    Brand-new Scura

Your Scura looks great Scud oh and the weather and scenery not to shabby either.
  7. Nice looking bike. Love those Griso's. Doc, I'm pretty sure it's a 1200 8V. Looks like the PO painted the valve covers black.
  8. Interesting! Now I know why the drive shaft is marked or should be before dismantling.
  9. Great pics. Looks like you had a good turnout with some pretty nice weather. Good to see the V11's represented!! I'm partial to the Greenies
  10. Cannot say what the rest of Canada has, but here in British Columbia any Chevron station (94 Octane) or Shell station (91 Octane) are ethanol free. There are some other stations that have it such as Costco, Co-op, but there are fewer of those around.
  11. Just received mine today. Thanks Chuck for the fine work and fast shipping.
  12. I also noticed a small oil leak. I originally noticed oil on the side of the cover and wiped it up, let the bike sit for a few days and checked it again to find some oil where the selector is situated. Is there a o ring on the shaft of the selector that prevents oil leaking from the cover? The picture below shows where I noticed a very small amount of oil. I looked at the parts manual and couldn't tell if there was a o ring on the shaft of the selector.
  13. Didn't know when or if the PO replaced the breather hose on the Greenie, so when I was doing some tank off maintenance I found this. Replaced it with a new one so everything is good for while.
  14. Chuck, sent you a e-mail with the info.
  15. Thanks Chuck. I'll be checking back on this post also, just in case.
  16. Hey Chuck, put me down for one also if there is any left. I know the old saying you snooze you loose. I think I was in a comma when you posted this. Thanks Dave
  17. Congrats on getting the Rosso Corsa n-f. I travelled 400 miles to get my Greenie.
  18. Great idea Scud!! Thanks for setting this up.
  19. Thanks Scud. Can't stop smiling after a "good days ride" on this bike.
  20. I had this same problem, did what KR mentioned (ground wire to the chassis and replaced all my relay's). Problem solved, works great, no bouncing around anymore.
  21. Since I recently tuned this bad boy up following docc's decent tune up post, I decided lets go for a good ride. Couldn't ask for a better day. Bike ran flawlessly and the weather well:

    Decent Tune-up

I just finished my tune up on the Greenie as per your procedure docc. I must say she is running much better than before. Hooked up Guzzidiag and checked the Fuel Trim/CO, I was surprised to see the setting at -67. Reset it to 0 and everything is fine. Thanks again docc.

    Decent Tune-up

Thanks docc for posting this. I plan on tuning my V11 tomorrow, this just made it easier!!
  24. MGrego, with the MPH risers I find that there is less pressure on the wrists especially riding at slower speeds (city riding). Also which is obvious, your not bent over as much. Definitely more comfortable than the stock setup.
