  1. Nothing more exciting than a new toy!  Early Xmas present...enjoy!  Maybe you can "sweeten" the incentive for the shop to work on a Sunday or two...several boxes of donuts or kolaches or whatever their favorite snack is might bring you forward in the work queue.  Have fun!

If I'd had MPH that close they would have done my clutch for sure:P:

100%...Mike at MPH swapped out my clutch/flywheel on the Scura...nice not to have to worry about it grenading in the future.  I've got the original in my garage if anyone wants it for an experiment of some sort...pay shipping and it's yours!

  3. 😀😀

So great to see you here Rodrigo and huge congratulations on a stunningly beautiful Centauro!  What a wonderful small world it is!

Look forward to seeing you again at one of the Guzzi rallies one day, you’ll find quite a few fellow Guzzisti in your area too!

The guys on the Guzzi forums are an absolute treasure trove, fulL of humor and great info!

  4. Cogito ergo sum!  I love it!

I buy Moto GP tickets on the day I arrive...and just pick what's available then, been enough times to know where to hide out and find good spots!

I do still have my Stones tickets from buying them back in 2020, I just held on to them w/o requesting a refund thru Ticketmaster, so they roll to the upcoming show in November!

Luckily Texas doesn't have a state income tax...so they only get my sales tax dollars on the Black's BBQ in Lockhart!

Makes me wonder if they'll cancel the MotoGP race in Austin?   My attendance probability has gone down to fractions.

Probably not going to Dusty's campout in Kansas next week.  The last campout there was in early May and it seemed so much more safer then.

Quit jinxing it!  It's a long ways away...repeat after me 3 times with feeling and enthusiasm!

I will be, at Moto GP!  I will be, at Moto GP!  I will be, at Moto GP!

    Hi all,

I just bought a 1997 Centauro, low miles and heard about this "mythical" Will Creedon full injection chip.  I read this post and sent a PM to a couple of you to see if I can get one.  Any help appreciated, thank you.

Is this Rodrigo?  Too much of a coincidence if it is!

  7. Is there a part # for this Casper cable or a link of where to buy gents?

I have my Guzzidiag cables, done everything on the Norge, Griso and Scura, but this 157 millivolt check on the TPS.  I have a good voltmeter, but I keep reading the process over and over and can't really figure it out just yet, but since I don't have the Casper wires to do it just yet, might as well get those and then see if the volts are in line with what they should be!

    Thanks!

  8. Agree on buying tickets on the spot...Turn 1 is fun...but slow around, so not much "leaning at speed"...generally it's just Marquez running a 3-5 second differential to #2 as he crests turn 1, and the next guy is making the turn way the heck down at the beginning of the grandstand straightaway.

I do enjoy the stands where you can see turns 13/14/15/16...

  9. Hardly an appropriate analogy, Guzzi isn’t peddling junk or artery clogging bits!  If it is drawing new riders to the brand and existing ones to loosen their purse strings,  that’s a good result.  It isn’t exactly falling apart either, so by what measure other than preferred specs is it a failure?

i suppose when it starts suffering major recalls and pieces start to fail it can be called for its shortcomings.

  10. Almost...as I posted above...GRIT = Guzzi Riders in Texas.  I've never seen Tex or Beaver serve grits at our GRIT rally, but Tex does make some amazing banana/walnut breads for breakfast, and Prescott and team usually help out with a very generous pasta lunch/dinner.  You won't leave hungry that's for sure...it is Texas after all!

Speaking of grits...the other day, I had some Gouda Grits...simply amazing combo.

    OK,  Let's unpack this.

    1.  COTA is always a rip-off IMO, this year is even worse.  I think they may be talking about premium parking vs bike coral parking vs standard free parking....but I don't know.  Just as bad are the hotel and lodging prices in A-town.  What is COTA direct?

    2.  The back to back weekend was meant for COTA MotoGP and then the Okla Guzzi Campout the following weekend that Paul and I usually attend.

In fact, the Moto GP weekend is also the same weekend as the GRIT RALLY...Guzzi Riders in Texas, up in Lindale.  But since Oklahoma rally is on the calendar already, I'd rather go to Moto GP 1st weekend of October, and then Oklahoma rally the following weekend.  If Moto GP gets cancelled, I may do the GRIT rally, it's an easy 200 miler up from Houston, and Oklahoma is another 200 miles north of that.
