I don't have a Tenni, but I have heavy bar ends from Moto International on my v11 sport. They work! Send Greg Field a PM, he works at Moto International, and he's a regular contributor to this board. /Steffen, Denmark

+1 for the Moto International bar ends. They work even in Denmark. And congratulations on your new ride. You even got the colour right /Steffen, Denmark

Actually I thought it didn't matter to me, where they build the bikes, but you're so right about this. The heritage is part of the guzzi experience to me. /Steffen

COMPARISON: Guzzi V11 and Ducati GT100

I just passed the quote on to my ducati-riding friends /Steffen -
What tire do you use? I have Metzeler z6, and I just recently found out, that Metzeler recommends 2,5 front and 2,9 back, which is way more than factory recommandation. Now I go with Metzelers recommandation, and it has definetely settled my bike down. It used to weave in the high speed curves... /Steffen

Went out for a little ride with some buddies sunday evening. After an hour of driving, a popping on decel worsens, shortly after, the bike turns much louder. I look down on the left cylinder, and a huge crack in the header is smiling at me. It's cracked all the way through. I pull over, call for roadassistance, and an hour later, my bike is picked up, and I'm on my way home, pillion on my friends (admittedly comfy) V-strom backseat... My mechanic will weld the crack, but I've sent Todd at guzzitech an inquiry for the crackfree headers. Dang, the summer has just started here in Denmark. /Steffen

Rather the early nineties. They are talking about the launch of the daytona. What happened by the way to the 128 ponies available with a chip and a new exhaust?? /Steffen

Dang, I have the plate, and I guess it works (oil light only on when I turn the key on ). Now I have to buy all the new Roper-bling... Actually I need a thrunge grommet stabilizer badly... When will it stop /Steffen

Welcome. Don't worry so much. Just by the thing. You'll regret it if you don't. Being from Denmark I can't tell if the price is fair. But here it would be considered a bargain /Steffen

They never replied, and I turned to TLM Maybe Agostini in Mandello can help: http://www.guzzitalia.com/ Good luck. /Steffen

My new and very heavy handlebars came today. Thanks, Greg. Now comes the tricky part: How to install (I'm a hamfisted fool with absolutely no mechanical ability). Do I simply unscrew the old ones, put the new bar ends where the handlebar ends and tighten up untill I believe it wont fall off? Please help. /Steffen

I have vibrations in the pegs?? I also like to feel I'm riding a guzzi, and I didn't consider the vibration in the handlebars to be that much of a problem. But my friends all mentioned it as the first thing, when they tried my v11. And when I read about the heavier bar ends at a reasonable price, I thought I'd give it a try. Don't think I'll miss the vibrations, if the bar ends help... Steffen
