  1. Good idea about the washer, Ill pick a couple up.
  2. Al is right, that is the Moto Guzzi tank bag. Regarding the rear mud guard, I took it off; I also removed the two little plastic covers at the end of the rear swing arm. No good reason, I just like to look at metal more than I like to look at plastic.
  3. http://shop.arlenness.com/store/category.a...ry_ID=15&Page=5 Ness took 2 days to ship my order, and it arrived in a day because I don’t live far from the store.
  4. I’ve mounted some “Barender” helmet locks on my bike. I got the 7/8 OD size, and they fit pretty well. I have to change out some “O” rings and grind the squish bolts down a little. The whole installation took about 30-45 minutes. One funny thing I didn’t think about was the gap you have when there is no helmet hanging from them (About an 1/8 of an inch.) You can find Barenders at: http://www.barender.com/ They took about ten days to arrive after I ordered them on-line.
  5. Hi, I've been cooresponding with them for a week or two. They don't take Credot Cards so I am learning how to do a wire transfer. (we're having trouble matching up the numbers to make my bank happy.) The total for the bars including shipping in Euros is EUR 374.65 (that's shipping to California) Frank

I'd like a set too. How would you like to be paid? Frank
  7. Nelson Riggs - Falcon Defender 2000 - Large,Blk $68.35 It is some king of heavy fabric, heat resistant, and treated to be water resistant too. It also has vents to let air circulate. I am very happy with it. (Photo attached) I bought it from MOTORHELMETS.COM. They were a little slow to deliver, I ordered it online on the 5th and just got it yesterday. But other than that, they were fine. Frank
  8. Yes I forgot to add that. I just ticked over 3000 miles. Thanks
  9. Hi, I'n getting false neutrals above and below 3rd. I've noted that some of you have tried different tranny oils. My dealer says not to do that and live with it for a while and it will go away as the transmission breaks in. This sounds reasonable to me. The dealer said the non-stock oils are more likely to weep past the seals into the clutch. Have any of you had a proble with this? Any ideas on the how long the transmission might take to clean itself up? Thanks in advance, Frank
  10. Hello Everybody, When I registered I noted that the moderator wants us to make an initial post to stay active... I'n new to the Moto Guzzi World. I just bought a V11 Sport Naked from Moto Italiano in San Mateo. Having been out of riding for 15 or 20 years, my skill are are pretty rusty, so I'm probably that slow red bike that you passed on skyline:) I'm signed up for a couple of Kegwins at the track days next month to brush up my skills. That's all for now. Mainly I'll be reading and learning from all you experienced MG owners. Frank
