I finally have the luggage rack on the bike! It took a while to arrive, and even worse, it was a bit crooked and didn't want to fit! Thankfully we were able to bend it back and now it's on there perfectly straight. Unfortunately I also noticed a new scratch on the right side of the fairing today... The bike already has plenty of them, but this one is white and extra noticeable, so I'll have to sort that out.. But now that I can easily carry some luggage, I'm already planning a trip to Luxembourg with my brother later this month!

The longer I have my bike the more little flaws I notice, like the fairing being a bit crooked when I had to put the damn thing back together! Turns out after looking at pictures I made before it's been like that since I bought it, and it definitely annoyed me a bit. But then, I saw pictures of a mint condition, all original Ducati Supersport 750, and the fairing on those bikes are even more crooked! Even despite that they're priceless classics. If it doesn't matter on those bikes, why would it be a big deal on my Lemans?

I went to Wieringerwerf op Wielen today with my brother, and I wasn't the only V11 rider there! It was a good time, but there were mostly harley and adv riders. Some very nice classic cars though.

I uhh, might have quickly snagged it on ebay...

I'd love to buy it if you're willing to ship it to the Netherlands!

I did not, but that's perfect!

I want to get myself a luggage rack for the bike so I can really get some touring done. I know I can get a hepco & becker rack (pictured) but I would be happier with a more sleek design!

So, I've finally patched the bike up, and it's once again looking great! I still need to replace the windscreen, but it didn't want to fit properly anyways so I had to drill new holes just to get it on there. The frame of the fairing is a little bit asymmetrical and that's probably the cause of these fitment issues.

It would be amazing if you could do that for me, it looks nearly pristine except for the one damaged bit on there. The color is right too! Since this part of the fairing is too far gone to repair anyways, I did do a quick fix with some zip ties so I can at least ride the bike until I get all the parts to fix it.

You can still get those Magni fairings? I do really like the look of those, better than the stock Lemans fairing even. I'll send them an email!

The left side and the bottom bit below the headlight are undamaged from the accident, but the fairing was already a little off centered when I bought the bike. I only noticed that recently, but it was like that all along.

I uhh, have not been having a good time lately. I went out for a ride with a friend this evening, and a wild hare jumped into my bike out from nowhere! Thankfully I didn't crash, but the fairing is completely messed up now. Does anyone know if it's even possible to get a proper matching replacement in the Netherlands, or is my Lemans now doomed to become a Sport?

It really makes perfect sense for me. I was torn between getting a characterful retro bike, but I also want something with nice brakes and suspension that can really handle. I guess most young riders are put off by the weight and age of these bikes.

Oh that's excellent, I've ordered it right away! Now my only worry is fixing the scratch, and it will be like nothing ever happened. Thanks!

It's a chrome one so it will be mismatched, but that's a huge help regardless. Thanks!

I had a very day today and dropped my bike after a ride. Thankfully the damage isn't too bad, but I'm really bummed out regardless. Tthe left mirror broke (I already ordered a replacement), I got a small scratch in the fairing, and I broke this protective part on the valve cover (pictured). I don't know what it's called, and after searching around the internet for a few hours I haven't been able to find any for sale either. Does anyone know where I can still get this part?

Fortunately it doesn't seem to be bad for motorcycling, atleast in the Netherlands. Motorcycling is more popular than ever it seems!

I haven't ridden in the dark with it yet, all I can tell you is that the DRL is fine. I guess we'll both find out the hard way!

I agree, but they could tone it back a bit. Having to retake your test to move up to a bigger license is annoying, and the wait times are long enough as is!

Hello everyone! I'm Jaide, I've just turned 24 and with that I'm finally rid of the A2 license, and with that I've just upgraded from my restricted XSR 700 to a low mileage V11 Lemans. I'm probably the youngest member here, but I figured I'd join in case I need some advice with this bike. I came close to buying a V7 for my first bike, and after getting a Yamaha instead I just couldn't get those Guzzi's out of my head. And after a test ride I was immediately convinced I needed to get one!

I haven't checked it for any brand names but just looking at the design compared to a ledperf, it looks identical. And it seems to fit very nicely in there.
