  1. Thanks for including Tonti's, This is where "Boom Boom" belongs!
  2. Just one more!
  3. I'm on a roll now!
  4. OK, I'm gonna try this again, all those months in the garage have dulled my 'puter skills!
  5. I wanted to add this to the Lurker site, but no go.
  6. If anyone would like to check out the REAL Northern California, I would be happy to show you some of the great roads up here in Lake and Mendocino counties. A more southern alternative would be to meet up in Healdsburg and ride the well known Scaggs Springs road to the coast, theres a pretty good BBQ in Gualala, a better one in Lakeport. Any takers?
  7. I know this is cheating, but I had to show off #329!
  8. I'll be happy if my oem Bridgestone makes it to 4500 miles! I plan on replaceing it with an Avon Azarro
  9. What worked the best for me was a really good balance job on the throttle bodies, helped out the fuel mileage too!
  10. I knew there was something goofy about the front end of my V11 Sport but it took awhile to figure out that it was those Alfred E. Neuman front turn signals! The solution is simple, just remove those spacer blocks that hold 'em out there. First remove the headlight, then unplug the turnsignals, the bolts that hold the spacers are on the inside of the headlight brackets, remove the spacers and reattach the turnsignal to the headlight bracket using the original bolt, a spring washer and a 6mm nut, a drop of blue locktite would't hurt either. Replace the headlight, step back and see what the person who designed this bike had in mind!
  11. Useful or not, it's GREAT! Thanks for doin' it!
  12. I'm willing to bet that the lower temps and higher humidity had as much to do with the power increase in the second dyno run as swaping power commanders!
  13. That's SOOOOOOOOOO Cool!!! Thanks for sharing, it is great to see what is going on in other parts of the world, whatta woman!
  14. This doesn't seem to load on my Mac, just comes out as text. as for flying, make mine open cockpit/radial engine!
  15. Hey Happy New Hair, You'all! I believe those rocker arms are available from MG Cycle in cheese filled Wisconsin As for valves and valve train components, I'd reccomend checking out Kibblewhite Precision Machineing in Pacifica, California. They supply high quality components to Mike Rich and other vintage builders! I met one of their reps out at Bonneville and was quite impressed. Have fun, Tom
  16. Is that real sunshine? Tom
  17. I'm guessing that the stock clip-ons are mounted underneath the top triple clamp instead of on top. Tom
  18. I have a Snap-On Micro-Scan OBDII [on board diagnostics] reader for automobiles, does anyone know of an adaptor that could plug into the Marelli ECU? I'm sure it could read all the available data if those plugs would just match up! Tom
  19. Sure thing, I took in out for a spin today, sounds great, loud enough to be sporty, but not cause anyone any pain, if I wanted it louder I would probably drill another 13mm hole across from the one at the top. Have fun, Tom
  20. Now I've got this muffler thing sussed, at least I have a pretty good theory about how that back chamber functions, it's sort of a pressure relief valve, when exhaust pressure increases when you open the throttle, some of the gasses can force their way through all that steel wool and make it out through the perforations near the end of the tailpipe. That's why not much happens when you remove all that steel wool, the escape hole is pretty small. I left about a quarter of the wool in, little change in sound, then today I drilled a 19mm hole directly under the stock opening, big change, but not quite there, so I drilled a 13mm hole just to the outside of the top end cap nut, Bingo! Deep and throaty, not Too loud, I like it! I removed most of the material surrounding the stock exit pipe except on the bottom, then painted the inside and pipe flat black, you can't tell that it has been modified unless you look up there with a flashlight! Have fun, Tom
  21. I sure wish I had realized that there was a second page to this thread before I got all exited about cutting up my mufflers.............
  22. Here's some food for thought, the AMA 1350 P-PP record is 122+, I ran a 123.668 with a 30 year old 750! Time to do some cherry picking before someone runs it to 150 or so!
  23. I ran into the specs on Al's bike on another site, I wonder if he would volunteer to, say, enter the BUB AMA meet next September in the 1350 P-PP class, I bet it would give those Buells a run for their money! Although, believe me, they have a lot of money. I would be happy to share what I've learned out on the salt. It's a heap of fun, but Very addictive. On a personal note, my Mille GT sold along with a bunch of music gear, I'm closing in on that Sport!
  24. That's because everyone agreed not to talk about it, my mouth always gets me in trouble. I guess I'll just say that after the '02 world finals, Sidney took his balls and went home.Cooked Goose is pretty much his baby now. Tom
