  1. It was not the mg stand at fault it was my own stupidity but anyway i dont think i would like bar end mirrors as they would scratch against cars/trucks filtering through traffic. away to fit my cb750 mirrors for now and go out for a run. Gary
  2. Putting my bike on its it mg stand today to take off the back wheel today, decided to put down a bit of wood under the stand so it would raise the bike another 20mm anyway the wheel on the other side of the stand did not go on the wood so taking it back off the bike fell over abit (i had one hand on the handlebar) right against the garage wall smashing the mirror so looking for new mirrors, any suggestions. Gary
  3. there is enough silicone there to seal round my bathtub. but i would still like a look.
  4. Hi I took my oil pan off for a oil and filter change and it practically fell off once the oil hose and 14 screws were off, on my pan at the front and back there is a couple of "lips" protrusions maybe you could prise the pan off with adriver against the lip of the pan and against the exhaust at the back and against the oil hose union at the front but go gently, or you could you could wait for a reply from one of the seasoned pro,s to give you advice. Gary

  12. Nah, if Haga,s yam is as good as the end of last season he will win.
  13. Just looked at my sidestand rubber and it does not look like that, Mine has the bolt on it to fit to the bracket just like the drawing martin posted. Curiosity was killing me so i took my tank off (changing the air filter anyway) and there is nothing there that looks like that Gary
  14. Wayne Gardner is my all time favourite gp racer, always gave 125% a true oz hero
  15. If a racer got a choice of what series to race in ( wsbk or motogp ) 99% would choose motogp as it still is the one to win. The whole world has heard of rossi now, but how many san name the wsbk champion!! I am not knocking WSBK as i follow both series but apart from last season i think it has been stale since foggy retired. Both will be good to watch this year. Gary
  16. Do you have any dates/tracks
  17. God it makes me feel old seeing the jps nortons lined up like that, the last time i saw them was at knockhill with ron haslam on board, And now they are museum pieces
  18. I have the cafe sport (same fairing) and it does a fair job at "sensible" speeds with not to much buffeting but it is no good at 100+ mph for any length of time. it may be worse if you are a tall chap, im ok cos im a shortars . But as my bike is a "keeper" I may in the future convert the bars/fairing the same as someone on this forum did with a coppa italia ( Great job). Gary
  19. I am thinking of installing a power commander sometime in the future , But can you give me any info on a MyECU as i have never heard of it. Cheers
