  6. I must admit, it does not looks so well from the side: The last image shows the original screen and the 2 pieces I cut off. The first step (1. piece) looked better but it didn´t work for me (turbolences around the neck).

  9. RED!!! Wows - looks good. My valve covers and "pork chops" were painted ca. 2 years ago with a translucent ink technique (4 layers). The original finish was of bad quality and bleeched over the years.
  10. Hi Søren, I used a Dremel, 60 & 100 emery cloth and adhesive tape (for marking the cutting edge an to avoid scratches). You have to be patient for the job The final step was polishing the cutting edge with "Autosol® Edel-Chromglanz" (Metal Polish)
  11. Frodo´s Brothers Does he have one? I don´t think so. Maybe she looks better with the standard screen ...
  12. Hej Søren, jeg er ... *sorry* I am 172 cm "tall". I also mounted the MRA touring screen => makes a lot of noise & looks fugly! A friend of mine, 202cm tall, also tried the MRA touring screen and even he had problem with noise. MRA also delivers originally-shaped sreens. For a little extra charge they are also willing to make shorter screens.
  13. Smaller drivers sometimes have problems with noisy air turbulences which are caused by larger windscreens. I bought a used windscreen and made some experiments: It helped a bit but really looks ... "different" - what do you think? But I have to admit that my new BMW "Sportintegral" helmet and the DÄS handebars also helped.
